I have some good news. I have been encouraging Geordi's breeder to try vaping for a long time. She has been using a Blu from time to time, but still smoking 2 packs a day. She is an ER nurse, so she knows what she is doing to herself. Before we left on our last trip she told me "I am ready to get serious about vaping", so I brought her my old ego twists and Innokin VV3s I don't use anymore and a few H2 clearomizers. I also brought her all juice I had in 12 mg (I have vaped 6 mg for about 2 years, but had some left and some sent to me by friends). Talked to her today - she is enjoying vaping! She feels guilty she is still smoking, but as I told her in the beginning, it's not the cigarettes you smoke, it's the ones you DON'T smoke that count. She ran into someone at an agility trial 2 weeks ago vaping away on an iStick ("he has one like you use") and he reinforced what I told her. He said it took him 2 years to completely convert to vaping, so she is feeling stronger about it.

Speaking of Geordi... he is almost as big as Tasha now!

I can't remember if I told y'all about the therapist that got on my reserve nerve yesterday.

First off, be assured that we all are endeared and inspired with your spirit and attitude!

OT, due to my font and screen setup, gotta say da I first read your above sentence as "the ...... that..." <whew!!!>

SWEET! Cathy, sometimes it takes a validation from 'nother vaper to 'trip' da 'trigger'.

Goodness gracious, so fast so soon. They're both just magnificent creatures!

Good on you, CL, for helping Geordi's breeder with vaping!

Just my opinion, but a higher amount of nic might be more effective for a 2-pack a day smoker. Maybe you could let her know that higher strengths are available.

Speaking of converts, I gave my next door neighbor a couple Vision Spinners and other stuff he needed to vape, almost a year ago I think.

Well, he's only vaping very infrequently.... but for 3 months he hasn't smoked at all! Tada!
He's bought new window shades and interior paint, now that his house is smoke free. Yay!

Yes, I told her she probably needs higher nic, the Blu cartridges are 16mg. But they work on the batteries I gave her, so that helps too.

She really likes one of the juices I gave her so this weekend we will get together and order her some juice. When I get a chance I will make her some too. The hardest part is finding the juice you like!

I think you said that FlavourArt Orange was already on your list but I'll take this opportunity to endorse it yet again. I could vape it all day every day. Since I do use other flavors sometimes, I can't prove that, but I don't seem to ever get tired of it.

Thanks and yes it is on there for my next order.

BTW, Nick was our champion 'bug' bagger, many times over, in our past sojourns down in da Keys!

Oh my gosh! Your dogs are beautiful. I am so jealous. Congrats on the conversion work on getting your dog's breeder off of the cigs. Having another vaper confirm what you have been telling her. She will come around in her own time so don't get discouraged. Celebrate her small accomplishments. It took me about 2 years to get totally off the analogs.

That is so cool! I had a great biology teacher in high school who would do things like this with us advanced placement students. He was a good friend for many years.

Ok, here are the pictures of the frother. I have a 10ml syringe next to it for comparison. The beaker is the one I use for mixing. The clear picture is just after adding all the ingredients followed by a pic of the mixing. The last pic shows all of the bubbles from mixing. I now have the juice sitting in a small crockpot and the temp is 112. I am going in about every 15 minutes and mixing the juice, letting it settle and then after 15 minutes going through the process again.Milk Frother.jpg Before.jpg During.jpg After.jpg

Thank you everyone for the compliments on my dogs. They are very cool, smart dogs (Belgian Tervuren). At not yet 6 months Geordi sits, downs, short stays, gaits (for showing in conformation when he is old enough, shakes (right paw), paws (left paw), spins (clockwise circle), twirls (counterclockwise circle) and working on crawl. Tricks are fun and teaches learning is fun!

As for his breeder, I am very happy and encourage all I can. Baby steps will get there in her own time. She hears all the untrue crap about vaping so I have given her a lot of true research and info. It was a real eye opener. And now that she has decent equipment and some support, I am sure she will succeed. She does not have much time to be online, so to get her here is hard, but I will do all I can to help. Thank you everyone for encouraging me! It is important to me to get her off those killers.

Honies I'm home!! I got home in the wee hours of the morning. We left late last night due to a bird that refused to start. We were ripping and running for parts so we could get out of dodge. BUT, I made it.

The WiFi Internet saga continues. Yesterday we received notice that some idjit had downloaded an illegal movie on the 9th of August. I wasn't at work on that one, and we all knew not to do it, so we're still trying to figure out WHO! They'll probably wind up taking away our WiFi again and this time for good. I just don't understand people. That means I'll probably be reduced to coloring when I have down time. ;)

Glad you're home; but, sorry about the internet. Coloring is nice, but only every once in a while.
