Or just staring at a blank post?
Oh, they are gorgeous!I have some good news. I have been encouraging Geordi's breeder to try vaping for a long time. She has been using a Blu from time to time, but still smoking 2 packs a day. She is an ER nurse, so she knows what she is doing to herself. Before we left on our last trip she told me "I am ready to get serious about vaping", so I brought her my old ego twists and Innokin VV3s I don't use anymore and a few H2 clearomizers. I also brought her all juice I had in 12 mg (I have vaped 6 mg for about 2 years, but had some left and some sent to me by friends). Talked to her today - she is enjoying vaping! She feels guilty she is still smoking, but as I told her in the beginning, it's not the cigarettes you smoke, it's the ones you DON'T smoke that count. She ran into someone at an agility trial 2 weeks ago vaping away on an iStick ("he has one like you use") and he reinforced what I told her. He said it took him 2 years to completely convert to vaping, so she is feeling stronger about it.
Speaking of Geordi... he is almost as big as Tasha now!
If she's smoking 2 packs a day 12mg is not going to put a dent in her craving. She's going to have to go much higher, maybe even to 36mg to be satisfied. And she needs to go higher fast or she'll give up on it. She'll start the "it tastes good, but i'm still craving cigs, so it's not working.". She'd be right, too. She needs a higher nic.I have some good news. I have been encouraging Geordi's breeder to try vaping for a long time. She has been using a Blu from time to time, but still smoking 2 packs a day. Good job, Bells! And I totally agree on the nic level.Good on you, CL, for helping Geordi's breeder with vaping!
Just my opinion, but a higher amount of nic might be more effective for a 2-pack a day smoker. Maybe you could let her know that higher strengths are available.
Speaking of converts, I gave my next door neighbor a couple Vision Spinners and other stuff he needed to vape, almost a year ago I think.
Well, he's only vaping very infrequently.... but for 3 months he hasn't smoked at all! Tada!
He's bought new window shades and interior paint, now that his house is smoke free. Yay!
That is so cool!My Grandson (Mason), a fellow Caribbean lobster whisperer buddy (Nick) and my SIL (Ryan) made our local paper & YT Monday...

BTW, Nick was our champion 'bug' bagger, many times over, in our past sojourns down in da Keys!
Glad you are adapting well to what might be bad news. I had an aunt who died from complications of an experimental treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. I know that escape from the pain and crippling effects is a mighty fine carrot.Well, I just got word that i've been rejected from the Research project. That oxygen/carbon dioxide exchange number kicked me out. Dr says my number was in the normal range but it was enough to eliminate me.
I'm not upset about it at all. I felt pretty much ambivalent about it all along. It is exciting to know that there is a possibility of this working for people with RA, & finally finding something that could wipe it out, or even have a longer lasting effect than what there is now. So i'm getting started with the organization that helped me before. Prayers please, that funding is available this year.

Ooooooo, purty doggies! And congrats on the convert too!I have some good news. I have been encouraging Geordi's breeder to try vaping for a long time. Yep, I'm going to get me something like that.Ok, here are the pictures of the frother. I have a 10ml syringe next to it for comparison. The beaker is the one I use for mixing. The clear picture is just after adding all the ingredients followed by a pic of the mixing. The last pic shows all of the bubbles from mixing. I now have the juice sitting in a small crockpot and the temp is 112. I am going in about every 15 minutes and mixing the juice, letting it settle and then after 15 minutes going through the process again.View attachment 490833 View attachment 490834 View attachment 490835 View attachment 490836
As long as you have 4g cell service I would just up my data allowance from my cell provider and use the hot spot function in my cell phone. That's what I do when Doree and I are on the road and I really don't notice any speed difference. As long as your not watching youtube and Netflix stuff around 10gb a month should do you fine. I just make sure to use wifi whenever it's available. YMMV. Just a recommendation. I couldn't go a day without my back porch fix!Honies I'm home!! I got home in the wee hours of the morning. We left late last night due to a bird that refused to start. We were ripping and running for parts so we could get out of dodge. BUT, I made it.
The WiFi Internet saga continues. Yesterday we received notice that some idjit had downloaded an illegal movie on the 9th of August. I wasn't at work on that one, and we all knew not to do it, so we're still trying to figure out WHO! They'll probably wind up taking away our WiFi again and this time for good. I just don't understand people. That means I'll probably be reduced to coloring when I have down time.![]()

Looks like Iffy may even be getting it worse...
Afternoon, Gracie. Is it raining up your way? Pouring here.Sorry for the blank post.....not thinking too clearly this morning!
Good morning to all and have a great day!
Thanks, Iffy!Sorry you missed out, Kenna, but glad you're taking the news well! And prayers out for funding...
Actually it's a beautiful comfortable day with no rain in sight for a couple of days... thankfully.
Johnny Johnny, where is your mind??
