I stopped watching Soul Train when a 6 month old tv blew up while watching that show. I know. Just never watched it again.Oh I loved Hazel!! Wish I could find reruns of that show.
I don't think she was on 8 tracks. she didn't start til the 80's and I have her first album on cassette. Have most of them, but am missing her later ones from the last several years. I did have a bunch of 8 tracks and a stereo with 8 track in it that I gave to my neighbor when my son was young and her radio broke.
oh kay.........that is awesome!! So sweet of you sandra!! Just perfect for kay, and matches your Reo perfectly!! Gonna put some bling on it??? hehehe
you said it! There is some true talent today, but not as much
I suppose negativity of any type isn't the best thing, but although the "old days" certainly had their share of problems, I think it was a better time to live in, even if we didn't always know it. Technology has vastly improved, but many other things have gone way down hill, making folks long for better days. But yeah, these are the times we're in, and we do all try to make the best of em for the most part. It's good that you can see these times in a more positive light than many. I try to always look at the bright side, but these days the bright side is getting dimmer and dimmer for me.
Hope y'all have a safe and uneventful trip.
Like Matt, by the time I watched it, it was Saturdays, but I was faithful. Loved that and soul train
I thought that after a certain age women didn't wear halters?Good luck with the test. I've had the privilege of wearing that device myself. I didn't enjoy it and it didn't record correctly the first time so of course I had to wear a different one again. PVC. Premature Ventricular Contractions. Doc says they're ok as long as they are singular. Don't want too many in a row.
Am I the only one who rushed home from school to watch American Bandstand every afternoon?
Look for MeTV on your Cable box..... Hazle is on there, as well as the Patty Duke show and even Lost in space!Oh I loved Hazel!! Wish I could find reruns of that show.
...
I really made an effort to make my statement as diplomatically as I could. It does reflect the way I really feel though. Frankly, I would get by just fine if the conversations extolling the virtues of yesterday were accompanied less often by criticism of today. My personal view is that it's a crutch I don't need, so do bop me on the head instead of on my legs.

Yes - I'll take ZZ Top over Lawrence Welk any day! You're right Bells, not everything was better in the old days.
yeah, in case ya do sumpthin weird, and sprain a boob!!Ummmm... they also can be referred to as "boob slings""![]()
Someone mentioned that before for something, we don't seem to have it here on dish. I looked it up, and it appears that certain markets carry some of it on a local only signal if I understood it correctly. Central Texas was not among the ones they listed.Look for MeTV on your Cable box..... Hazle is on there, as well as the Patty Duke show and even Lost in space!
Amen!!! Back then I had no say, and no ZZ Top...Yes - I'll take ZZ Top over Lawrence Welk any day! You're right Bells, not everything was better in the old days.
guess I'm giving my age away here...
Hmmmmm....don't want my years......could I interest you in an extra 40 lbs. ?Nope, you are not giving it away - at least not to me - don't want it, but if you want some more - I would be more than happy to give you some...I believe in sharing in life - especially in the things that you feel you could do without...
