Wow @bigbells You are getting a DNA200? I just glanced through the escribe software. I don't know if I have the Patience for that. It's pretty involved but I think you picked the right mod. It's the one I would pick if I was going to get one. That Lipo battery doesn't interest me in the slightest. Plus the shape looks like it would fit great in your hand. I hear they work really well but kind of involved for me. I might try an ML but for now the M is just right for me.

My feelings exactly regarding the low mah of the Lipos. I really don't understand why they're being used. Maybe they're safer? I always thought they were a LESS safe technology. And yep regarding the shape of the Reuleaux. I'm not going to order one until they're in stock somewhere. Regarding the Escribe software, you might be right, but I'm figuring that the programming is a luxury rather than a necessity as far as actually using the mod.

PBusardo did some math wizardry that showed they last as long as Lithium Ion batteries. The Mah rating applies to one of the three cells in the stack. Something like that anyway. Got to compare amp hours not milliamp hours I guess. It was about 2 1/2 hours into his 3 part marathon review of the DNA 200 so I'm not really sure what he said. I watched the whole series in the middle of the night one night when I couldn't sleep. Talk about an Evolv fan boy.

Shoot, I don't know, but even if the Lipo batteries have 3 times as much life as their mah rating, that's still well less than half as many mah as I'll get from 3 Panasonic 25R batteries. I suspect the Lipo batts may be rated for higher discharge rate, because that's the same type battery that is used in RC quadcopters. If I was vaping under 0.1 ohms I might take that into consideration, but my nickel wire experiment is over. I like titanium and stainless steel, at around 0.3 to 0.7 ohms.

I have had a frustrating afternoon with son. He is out of money and needed vape coils. He set up a pp account, and I sent him $10, but the account needs to wait 24 hr to activate. I guess he can buy just one coil at the vapestore, and I sent him a utube link on rebuilding protank coils and link to lightning vapes.

Are you starting to Mold yet? Well that's about when I changed my socks. It's terrible when I go in for a tune up on my legs and he takes my shoes off them always full of grass clipings from mowing the lawn.
Won.t they short out or catch on fire with all that in there?

Yep you are probably right, I think they have files already in there for you to use for different wires and some of the places that sell wire have the file available to load into it for you. Sweet Spot is one but I've heard their Ti is substandard thought to be grade 02 instead of 01. I don't know that for a fact. A lot of people like the FT stuff. Whatever you do don't get the NiFe52 from Unkamen, no one has figured out what it is but not NiFe52. I'm waiting for my NiFe48 from Zivipf in Germany. Everyone really likes it so had to give it a try. It's going to have to be really good to get me away from Ti. I like the Crazy Wire better then Unkamen, I'll explain that. The Unk is great when you first put the coil in but after a cleaning it kind of loses its umph, not as much vapor or taste. The CW after cleaning tastes like brand new. The NiFe one of the guys told me to try 6wrap 3mm 26awg microcoil. Treat it just like Kanthal. We'll see it has a TCR of .00405 if you decide to try some when you get your DNA. I should have mine by then so will report back on that. On my Kanger STM's using Ti I use 26awg 5 wrap 3mm spaced coil and it is fantastic taste and vapor wise. The Crazy Wire is actually about 26.5awg so it ends up being about .28ohms on the STM. That new Wire Wizard on Steam Engine is a really cool calculator also. Comes out really close.

No no no no no. Being a problem isn't good enough. You must be an absolute embarrassment to them in order to exact your revenge. :D
I do that! Oh wait. Last time I did that my daughter & grandson parked the wheelchair I was in on the tracks of the miniature train at The Kemah Boardwalk. And walked away. I love my kids!

I admit, it is a guilt thing. I sicced a bill-collector on him last week.

You're a wire chaser, Patrick!
Well I was till I tried Ti. Then this NiFe came along and I thought it would be great to be able to use a microcoil and dry burn your coils to clean them. But like I said it is going to have to be really good to beat Ti. Some of the guys like the SS but I haven't really had the urge to try it.

For thanksgiving around here I will probably do what I always do. Pack the hubby off to Thanksgiving dinner with his family and I will stay here fend for myself on dinner and either muck about with the computer or watch old movies. I just don't do big crowds and his family get togethers often end up being over 100 people in one small house. Social Anxiety disorder can make such things really tough. Don't feel sorry for me guys. I am not big on hollidays and sitting home alone does not bother me at all.
That is what i would like to do, but seldom get to.
