You can probably see the tank name engraved on the base, near the word Kanger.

I see NO words on the tank, anywhere. But it WAS in a Kanger box (unsealed) and I do have the box of coils from Kanger. Is that a problem, was I probably ripped off if it isn't marked?

Question: The nic level on my cigalike was 24mg. This juice is 20mg nic. Do I ingest a lot more nic with the protank, if I am vaping about the same amount of time? Sorta feels like it.....
Compared to a cigalike, YES, you are getting more nic with your new setup even though it's lower nicotine level. Some people reduce their nic levels radically when going to more efficient equipment like you now possess, others don't reduce much if at all. But absolutely, you're getting more nic now.

You weren't ripped off if it does the job, however, if it's a genuine Kanger product it will say "KangerTech Protank Mini" on the lower metal part of the tank.

For $10 it is prolly a clone but many of them are just as good as the authentic.

this place here has them for $5 but only a couple of colors left.
They seem to run from $5 to $12 on Vapecrawler.
MINI PROTANK 3 CLEAROMIZER

I suspect those are clones as well.

Shoot....maybe that is why it fell apart. I did ask about returning malfunctioning things, and they said all sales final after they set it up for up in the store and you try it. Live and learn I guess.

Kanger sells them for $10. Kanger E-vod clearomizer
I know that ECF translated the link to Evod, but if you click on it you see it's the Protank 3 Mini.

Sorry I haven't checked in but I have been trying to get this new wire to work as well as everyone says it does. Gotta go rewick mine and see if it is better. Think I wicked it too tight. So far I'm not that impressed but I think it is a learning curve. I'm not used to using a contact coil and I think I'm not getting enough juice to it cause I made it too tight. Going to keep trying but I have my Ti still in all my others and they are still tasting good.

If you like Evods then Electronicstix has genuine ones for $1.50 each. I bought 20. Gave about 1/2 away.

Yes you will get more nic, you might want to consider 12 mg for your next juice purchase.
I am not sure I'd go that low, maybe 18 since she's just kickin the cigs....

Liz, you did fine it seems. as someone said, many of the clones are just as good and sometimes even a tad better than some of the originals.
As to nic, you'll know if you're getting over nic'd. A little nausea, or light headed, just don't feel too good. If that should happen, lay off the vaping for a bit, and drink a lot of water and you'll feel better. If the 20 is doing ok by you, stick with that. If you feel over nic'd, maybe try 18. You don't want to lower your nic too much if what you're using isn't making you feel bad. If you feel you do need to go down in nic, you can get some 12, mix equal parts with the 20, and have 16mg nic. (the same or similar flavors).

Yup, that's how I feel (after only owning the system for 7 hours!), and why I asked. Sigh.....more living and learning! And I REALLY did watch a million vids and read a million posts and webpages before I started all this. Sigh....

After 3.5 years I'm still learning things, so don't feel bad! But yeah probably a little too much nic. You'll find your happy place where it's enough that you don't crave cigs, but not too much. That juice was pretty inexpensive for a B&M so maybe tomorrow you can get some more in 12 and mix the two, a little heavier on the 20 will get get you closer to 18, 50/50 will get you 16 mg nic, if that's still too much you can vape just the 12

So Robert actually had a good idea in getting 12, sorry Robert. :)

Liz, I think you are doing just fine! We all started out in the same place you are. That's why it's so great to be able to come here with your questions and concerns. We have been there and done that and figured out the answers. And everyone here is very willing to pass along those answers!

I had lots of practice I was a co caregiver for my mother in her final years with dymensia. Now that was rough. I worked from home over the internet and mom lived with one of my sisters. And my sister was trying to hold down a college teaching job. Math no less! It was too much for her so I moved my work location to her home for some time. It got quite bizarre sometimes.
Robert, you are a good person.

I think you did fine. There is a learning curve so don't get discouraged. Lots of good info since I flagged your post to quote. We'll find ya deals!

My turn to rant, fair warning, this will not be very pc.

I agree that the current events in Paris are horrible. I feel for the people there, they did not deserve this outcome.
However...
In the past several years i have heard report after report of France opening itself up to middle eastern immigrants, legal or not, taking in all comers. Then i hear reports of violence from young islamic men, cars burning in the streets, etc.
I also hear repeated reports that the french government was choosing not to deal with this "minor" violence due to perceptions of intolerance against islamics.
Then this happens.
Those of us who are parents understand this. If you dont deal with bad behavior when it starts, it will escalate.

Again i feel for the people of France, but the French government dropped the ball, and should take some of the blame.

Yep! My sympathy is with the victims d their families, but France set themselves up for this. Our gment is leading us backwards down the dame path.

Jup! Meant to agree with Russell and I forgot. I did end up turning some of this on and watching it. They supposedly said something to the effect of.....American blood is best and we'll taste that soon. I'm as sick of the war as anyone, but this is why we have to do all we can to stop them. Had it been done fiercely and immediately, we'd be in a lot better shape with it.

Probably. An ego battery, which is what you have now, is a stronger battery, d your tank is a more efficient delivery system for the juice. So, you are probably getting a bit more because of the better efficiency. You'll find you don't need to vape as much. Or, you might want to step down to 18 mg or whatever the next step down is if this feels like too much now. Cigalikes are bad nic delivery systems period. Don.t take a big step down, you.ll end up unsatisfied & vaping more to ease the craving. One step down at a time!
