I enjoy TED as it provides a wealth of thought provoking material .. and, the following Netflix content is well worth a watch, if you have not done so already ..

Keith Richards: Under the Influence

Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me

What Happened, Miss Simone?

DamNation

Good Ol' Freda

I hearby recommend and fully indorse Jabra products.
Bought a headset for my softphone at work about a year and 3 months ago. This morning, during a call the host of the meeting told me that there were beeps coming from my line. I couldn't hear them, but since it was only coming from mine, I figured I would do a firmware upgrade. Upgrade failed, and I couldn't get the darned thing to work. It was a bit difficult finding and calling their technical hotline, but once the agent came online things went a bit more smoothly. He was very knowledgable and calmly led me through a manual upgrade, then several troubleshooting steps. Nothing worked, and the warentee was up 3 months ago. His final solution is that he is sending me a new headset and base, only thing I have to pay for is return postage to return my current headset and base once the new one works.
Replacing an out of warentee item is above and beyond normal service and these guys have my business for any future purchases in headsets.

Never herd o' Jabra. Been usin Sennheiser wireless for like 9000 years. Never a problem. Massive range. (300ft plus, thru walls) Dunno if Jabra has wireless but I would never ever consider wired.

It's the Jabra Pro 930. Wireless headset, and I have walked all the way to my mailbox and back while on a conference call.
The mailboxes are just past my next door neighbor's house.
Kewl. If it werks, do it to it! :)

Thanks I'll put them on my list. We watch Netflix a lot plus Acorn is worth the $5 a month just to get the new Doc Martins but they just had the season 7 finale. There are other good British and Irish shows and Australian on there.

I bought a bluetooth piece for a cell phone in early 2012 I believe, didn't use it but a few months. It sat in a drawer from then til a month or so ago. Took it out, charged it up and connected it to the computer and used it in the hangout. It worked fine. Right now I can't get it to sync again, but am certain that is either user error or the computer itself since this computer is messed up. But most likely something I did when I shut it off/down. So yeah, I'd second that, and that's great that they did that for ya!

Haven't looked at Acorn in awhile but it was free I thought, unless they have a paid version as well that has more. I love a lot of the British, and Irish shows.

I think he got stuck at the "Gyrocopter Girl" and didn't see "flight video". ;)

I will tell you that the Glenn Campbell piece is just downright excellent IMO, although all on the list are worth watching .. I ran sound for him in St Louis at the old Veiled Prophet Fair around the late 1980's, early 1990's and he was, er, not the nicest guy to work with .. however, the doc shows a man that's dealing with early Alzheimer's on his last tour as well as background info .. and it is not the same man as he was back in the day .. it was quite moving and hit home for me as my own Dad passed from Alzheimer's ..
