.....I keep checking the HO...everyone must be flat on their backs cuz of "over-extended" tummies and can't get to their puters
I'll be in that situation tomorrow night!

I'll be in that situation tomorrow night!

35 miles to go. Gas Guage says we have 50 miles of gas in the tank. Gonna be close but, dammit I ain't stopping! Just wanted everyone to know we made it. Doree drove the whole thing. I was falling asleep in the passenger seat and she rightly refused to let me drive. See you all in the morning. Happy Thanksgiving again and know that I really do love each and every one of you, my family.
No, i was resting from cooking itIs that why you were flat out on your back in the HO?!
No..that was too early...oh, you were practicing!
She had to skype 5 times about cooking. It's her first Thanksgiving that she had to cook so needed to know about the turkey the gravy wanted it just like grannys everthing came out great and tons of food.It may have taken 5 times but they all were perfectly balanced so that you could see each person! What a great job!
Yep I remember working on holidays. They would put out a big spread and we would load up and take it on the train with us.Well, while you guys were in the HO, I was snoozing my face off in preparation for another night of work. This day has felt really weird and strange to me. It hasn't felt like a Thursday, and it hasn't felt like Thanksgiving. My co-workers say the same. There was a nice spread waiting for us at the galley. It was a typical Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixin's. Yep, it was good and I was grateful. As much as all the aircraft flew today, nothing broke, and right now we're pretty much all sitting here looking at each other stupid. Shucks, I'm not going to complain. I'm getting paid. I'm full, and I have much to be thankful for.
I took enough back with me for tonight. Technically, since I start work at 3:30 PM, I don't eat breakfast since we go to "lunch" at around 5pm. That is the time the galley is open and we have to go when it's open or we're out of luck. Sometimes I bring stuff back with me to the base for when I get hungry around midnight.Yep I remember working on holidays. They would put out a big spread and we would load up and take it on the train with us.
My weather app on my phone lies all the time. [emoji35]290 miles to go. We should arrive in Deerfield Beach around 9:10 PM. Raining just south of Jacksonville. Typical Florida weather. Went to the weather app to see how long we were going to be in it, pouring rain, not according to weather underground, no rain on radar at all.![]()
It was great to get to meet you this morning, Classwife! Hope you got all the cologne out of your hair!Happy Thanksgiving in here
I want to say thank you for inviting me to the Hang Out...I had a wonderful time, you all made me feel so welcome !
Now, when I see your posts in here, I can picture you and hear you
Stuffed myself at my Sister's as usual.
And, as usual, the cologne was so thick I needed a shower once I got home [emoji38]
One of my nieces took a great vaping pic...I'll put it up as my avi for a bit once she sends it to me...it's on some fancy camera that she bought so I don't know when that will be.
anyhoooo...thank you again![]()

Doree is treating you right. Ever see a tired baby who won't go to sleep? Take him for a car-ride and he goes to sleep like he should have hours before.35 miles to go. We had one of the most meaningful Thanksgivings ever.
Early this morning, we went to a school gymnasium where the bleachers were filled with clothes donations, and tables were set for a full turkey dinner and all the trimmings. It was a sad and happy time for dh & me and some folks just tore me up. Sort of wish I could have brought home a particular older lady who looked so emaciated but she held her head high. Another person who struck me was a gentleman who was ...maybe in his 40s....couldn't really tell cause of the unshaven face and long straggly hair. This man looked so beaten, and I won't forget that look for a very long time. A lot of these folks were smiling and kept wishing all the helpers Happy Thanksgiving. Wow, just wow!
Every day I am grateful for so many things, but today brought gratefulness to a whole new level.

I had heard something happened, just not the full story. I'm so glad that you are alright. God bless everyone who helped you.So...
i'm the one who fell down in this scenario. i had recently been thru a few more low blood sugar incidents, which required 911, but this was my latest. so, "i fell down and couldn't get up". ring a bell to anyone?
fortunately, i was in the hangout when i fell (on an awkward trek to the bathroom) . i wasn't carrying my phone. i couldn't call 911
but... i WAS in the hangouts when i fell...
so.... yiddle calls oldbroad (and wakes her up from a dead sleep) to try to get someone else to call who has my address. fortunately, oldbroad had my address. (actually, i'm still kinda worried about that, but...)
so... yiddle ends up calling 911 (with oldbroad's help) giving them my address. 911 shows up and saves my life. if that hadn't happened, there's a good chance i'd still be laying on the floor
like many of us, i have a lot to be thankful for.
i am more than delighted to say that many of my reasons to give thanks reside on this porch
Happy Thanksgiving, ALL of you wonderful people
The thought of that SX kept me up half the night Thank You Mike. I saw a shot of the software for the new ML which is really no more then my M does except it has 6 presets for different wire. Vapor Kings who has the SX for $100 including shipping is saying they are in Arkansas and they are not allowed to ship to anyone in Arkansas because of some bill that passed there. I never even heard of that. I'm kind of leary of ordering one.
