Oh my...I nearly forgot a personal along-the-lines-of-the Christmas-spirit that happened yesterday at the store.... but first a little background...'

Seriously, best story thus far!

Ya ever seen a grown oldbroad walking thru a huge store with tears flowing?!!!

No, although I saw a five year old oldbroad throw a tantrum fer a diff reason.

Same here. Possible record. Of course we're nearly the same latitude just across the state.

I'll take a Gulf breeze vs. an Atlantic one, especially in da next few months!

Our temps won't be quite that high, but high enough that wearing shorts on Christmas day.......just ain't not right!!!

Speak fer yourself! If my legs turn white, just ain't not right. Shorts, short sleeve shirt, sandals and sunshine forever...

Mom and I used to make Christmas cookies -- dozens and dozens of every sort imaginable. It's one of the memories I cherish.

This will be our first Christmas in 'forever' that Patty and our three girls will not gather to make many dozens of holiday cookies and multiple pans of fudge. Have already ached a little missing the joyous and truly entertaining endeavor. But at least we'll be together celebrating on Christmas morn1

Salvation Army Christmas Carol
Jingle bells I hear bells ringing all the day.

I'll always donate to the SA; long before the ARC, if ever!

Oh, I really don't know. I don't need to know how to do that. I can block anything I want mentally. :D
You and me both......I also don't need or want to do that!

I just put my own internal shield up, and I'm good!

Y might suggest that the girls come do it & get a stool high enough that Patty can see them work from. I'm sure there are things she can do to help some & at least have that time together. I can't do it all myself anymore, but when my sister invites us to their baking day Mom & I are each able to do some of it. And it's fun just being there!

Good afternoon, Scott!

It's starting to get a bit ridiculous, even for WA. Are you likely to get stranded without electricity or anything? Or, is it just a nuisance?
No I hope not there was about 10000 from last nights but mostly in N Idaho. We aren't supposed to get a lot more snow but 4 degrees is a little on the chilly side. While the east coast is getting a heat wave. It's just not fair. Oh well we really haven't had snow for a couple years. We've already gotten more then we did the whole last winter. Good for the ski resorts though.

Didn't say I was, just curious how cause I couldn't see how. Don't want to block anyone. We're all friends even if we don't always agree. Nobody ever does. :)

And if it stays cold in the upper elevations it should help with the drought next spring. God knows they need it.

The grandkids all went to their dad's to spend the night and the day tomorrow. Even the 15 yo who can't stand his step-mom! So, I'll be all alone tomorrow during the day after my daughter goes to work.

So quiet. Only my tv on (instead of 3 going all at once). And, my tv is just replaying the same DVD over and over, turned down so low that I can barely hear it. (My own version of the feeling of having a window open.)

Sounds like us when we go to bed we always put the same movie on "The Hobbit" and go to sleep by it. Have watched the first 10 min about 300 times.

I'm mentally blocked, muhself. :/

Oh, THAT'S what you call it?

Put together a full CD of croaking tree frogs for a friend once. She'd had to move into a city and missed them.
