Last night I prayed for God to help me be happy with my life and what I have left and try to make others happier around me. I don't usually pray for me but got to thinking about it and thought it was time.

Pat, we all have our slumps, dumps and grumpy moments. Hopefully your sharing with us and prayers (including ours) will lift your spirits!

Yeah right, It would just rock you to sleep with a gentle vibration and a hummmm

Only made two extended train trips. I constantly fought off slumberland in order to view beautiful scenery I knew I'd never see from a road!

Kenna, hope ya know we can always 'put up' wid your 'moments'...

I thought ya didn't have to celebrate birthdays when you're ageless!

But, since ya insist... a happy belated Birthaversary +1!

It must of been, in that he went to sleep. Have ya tried that for yourself recently?
I'm sleeping better lately. Still have my rough night, last night, but generally better.

Thanks guys yeah I kind of scared my wife when I get like that. I am usually pretty mellow but that was one of my very unmellow times.
Ya, I think we have all bee there at some point or other. The first thought that goes through my head is that the people I would leave would be the ones to suffer... then this pops in and cheers me up.

Melinda (daughter) went on a cleaning spree tonight. Kids are with their dad. Christmas shopping is done. So, clean she did!

Y'all weren't very busy while I was away.

Friday night will be the first night for me to be away from home since my hospital stay. I'm going to visit my brother for Christmas and spend the night.

If anyone is interested, I just ordered 2 Kayfun Lite Plus V2 for only $6.99 each from Fluid Vapes. That's the cheapest I've ever seen. Can never have too many Kayfuns. They have a bunch of cheap clone rdas. Also a cute little ELA mech clone for only $4.99.

Time for bed. Good-night, all!

So I ordered 2 of those $7 KFL just for spare tanks, o-rings and screws. I got a "thank you for registering" email, but no order confirmation email. Do you know if they send 'em. The order webpage showed order successful, but it didn't show an order#. A bit confused. (Nothing new)

Well I am tryign to be a happier person after my wife told me I neede to see a shrink. I went on a rampage the other night and all I could think about was I would be better off for everyone if I just died. Last night I prayed for God to help me be happy with my life and what I have left and try to make others happier around me. I don't usually pray for me but got to thinking about it and thought it was time.

Well dang you'd just better decide to hang around ... if'n you do sumpin' stupid we'll just have to form a posse and come get you.

Joy? all I have known back to my farthest memory was depression. Some brief bit of happiness, but mostly just existing.

This is brilliant!

I started a gratitude project a few years ago. At first it felt awkward and forced; after a bit, joy crept in. There are days that I still have to work at it, but they are fewer and less frequent than they were. We all have to find our own way. Being gentle with ourselves helps.

My motto is "Keep a positive attitude, no matter what happens." My fall-back position is "A life well-lived is the best revenge." My secondary fall-back position is "Thank God for venlafaxine."

Gratitude seems to be the most sure way. But, that little gem you slipped in at the end, gentleness with ourselves, is a wondrous thing (just harder to do).
