Well, let me join the rank of weirdos......love me some oatmeal. Also love cream of wheat!

I may be the real weirdo here. I like lumps in my cream of wheat. Little ones. And in cream of wheat or oatmeal I like to put raisins in when it's served (before they can get rehydrated and soggy).

Since I am unable to stand Omega 3 in any form of capsule .. my DR recommended raw almonds or walnuts mixed in with my daily consumption of Fiber One or All Bran .. since my molars are no longer what they used to be, I kind of stick to the walnuts .. LDL from 195 to 50 in three years, of course, I'm sure the statin helped .. ;)
Just eat more sardines

Actually, I like grits, too! There is very little I don't like.......two foods I can think of that actually make me queasy thinking about them are red beets and lamb! Bodies react to certain foods cause of their needs....and I do NOT need beets or lamb!

i'm not a picky eater, but...

- the C word. 'nuff said
- asparagus. terrified me since at a young age i saw a B movie where the monsters looked liked asparagus
- asparagus. still freakin terrifies me
- brussel sprouts. quite possibly the best proof that god does not exist

- brussel sprouts. it was just a joke. get over it
- beets. i've actually read that certain people like beets, but i'm pretty sure they were all abused as children
- lamb. i've only eaten it in Greek restaurants, clearly after i was dragged unconscious over the river Styx. never again

:)

I love beets, asparagus especially when it is fresh from here and brussel sprouts. All lightly cooked with butter and salt and pepper. You can only get the local stuff for about a month a year asparagus that is.
