55 and still alive!
Howdy old farts!
DO NOT take flu vaccines.
Oops! Too late! I get a flu shot every year because my immune system has been beaten into submission. There was a time that I got flu or bronchtis every 2 years depending how close our confinement in the office & whether or not the HR lady insisted no one was going to call in sick. I got it 3 times one year. I had allergies like this the fall that I retired, tho. Nothing since & that was 7 years ago. Confined to my nose.

I knew it was a game but I couldn't think of the name. A friend posted a link that had about 20 different trees that were supposed to be pet safe. I thought that one was the most creative.

This reminds me of the year we hung our Christmas tree from the celing because every year before it came down at least once each season from one or more cats climbing in it. Hanging it didn't do the trick. We stopped putting up trees after that.

Howdy there Nermal!
I have been telling the wife for years that flu vaccines do not prevent the flu. I have been proven correct.
She still gets one every year, like a good slave. So does my eighty year old mother.
Every year, she gets the flu.
Me? Every other year, maybe.
First, the vaccine is designed for a particular strain of virus.
Second, 80-90% of the time they get it wrong.
Third, there are toxins and compounds in the "vaccines" that over time, lead to a host of conditions. That's where you need to do your own research.
No sir/ma'am. I will not have a flu shot, thank you.

When I do get the flu, I will take care of it in the method of my forefathers. Ckicken soup, whisky, zinc, megadoses of powdered ascorbic acid, and whisky.
My doctor doesn't agree with you. Flu shots cobtain the most common viruses for that year and yes, a person may still get the flu if he or she gets exposed to a less common one.

Flu shots are recommended mostly for people over the age of 60 because the older one gets the harder a flu is to shake and many older people die from it.

Hedging my bets makes sense to me at age 67.

Digiflavor Siren 2. I can see where the innokin Ares could be a little better with the bell not being so close to the build deck, no space its kind of tough getting the tails cut off short enough so they don't touch and short. Kind of a design flaw in my book plus the barriers for the wick to lay against so they don't leak into the air diffuser. They have to be built just right to get them to work. Some probably wouldn't like it on the setting I have because there isn't a ton of vapor, which is what I was going for. I enjoyed the Lung Hits but they didn't enjoy me. This one will also do lung hits just fine if you open it up, 10 different air settings on it. This is the one with the 24mm base but fits just fine on anything I have tried it on, Might be a little tight on a Pico tho.

Yep and also pneumonia. All you have to do is get a good case of the flu once and you'll do anything not to get it again. And pneumonia you may not have to worry about getting again if you get my meaning. Specially if you are older. That's what killed my mom. She just never snapped out of it.93 years old.

Swell! The gift of bacon for Hanukah. What could possibly go wrong.
I was wondering if/when someone would pick up on that. My stepmom and my sister-in-law are Jewish but not Orthodox. When my brother married a Jewish woman, the ceremony was traditional Jewish. My niece and nephew were raised with elements of both Christianity and Judaism. Then, when my niece married a Jewish man, it was also a Jewish ceremony. Keeping Kosher was important only for Yom Kippur, if at all.

Yup. WE get the pneumonia vaccine too for the same reason.

Years ago one woman in our office was going around telling everyone they better get their flu shot. Wouldn't you know it, she was the only one who got the flu!! I never used to get the shots, but January 2015 I got the flu and man! Knocked me out for a week! I couldn't even get off the couch for 3 days and that's unheard of for me. Thought I was going to have to get better so I could die. So now I've been getting them. Our bodies just can't fight things off like they used to. I got the pneumonia shot too.

For some reason our cats have never bother or Christmas trees, live or artificial. We have no idea why - they're very special cats.

Had a mornig few visitors this little guy came right up to the window wasn't scared in the least.

How wonderful! Deer are quite curious aren't they? Can't tell you the number of times I've caught them eating my plants and I've gone out and told them to stop it. They just look at me as if to say, "yeah, and what are you going to do about it?" We have conversations with them often and they usually don't run away unless we make a move toward them.

One summer we were doing some archery practice in the side yard when a large doe came walking by. Mike laid down on the ground and crept closer every time she looked away until he was fairly close. She'd notice him and start snorting at him! It was so funny!

Wow, the more I read about this infection I have the more I wonder where I got it. Could even be one of the E Indian meds I take. It has even been found on antibacterial treated surfaces. So many places. It's not overly contagious but is resistant to many antibiotics. Weird. Could even be from not cleaning my attys enough. Been found in distilled water. Crazy all the places I could've picked it up. Even been found on bottles of the hand sanitizer.
