I thought I could get rid of the pop up at the bottom of the page by entering but no cigar. Anyone know how to get rid of it

Not permanently... but if you can catch it before the green arrow appears, you can click the X (top right of the pop up) and it will go away until you log off and back on.... then it's back :(

I must get productive!!

I say that every day, but when I open the door and it is below 50 outside - I say never mind...

I am cutting up a tree today that fell a week ago because it finally got to a decent temp this afternoon...

I have to add - if I lived up where Mike or even Legs lived - I would not be very productive half of the year...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here and this is not political but the Republicans some of them are trying to roll back a law called net neutrality, its where ISP's will have the right to slow down or speed up your internet for certain sites, they gave the example of Verizon which is part owner in one of the search sites IDK if it was Yahoo but if you have Verizon they could slow down your service to the ones that they don't prefer and spped up to others that they are part owners. They also said 86% of Americans are against this.
If someone knows more about this please explain. I know that right now they have to give you access to any site equally and with this change they won't plus they will be able to pass the extra costs on to the consumer. Would love to hear an explanation of this. They are supposed to vote on it today.

I think you could say good bye to Kodi in the future. But I think everyone knew that would happen eventually. They also talked about different streaming companies if you don't use the preferred one could be an extra charge. Sounds crazy to me.
Sure would like to hear the whole story about this tho.

The vote is already over. Net Neutrality got dropped. While maybe not the best explanation, but in basic terms what it means is that ISPs can make people or business's operating over the internet pay more for services if they do not want to be blocked or buffered.

Thanks I went to a site that had the vote. Pretty good 5 people make the decision for the whole country and like it or not, which I think the FCC is supposedly neutral it went on Party lines. 3rep for 2demo against. The deciding vote was by the FCC Chairman that Trump appointed.

I couldn't have gotten a better cardiologist, I was reading his stats and he graduated in the top 5% of his class at the Univ of Washington medical school. He is a real brainiac and really nice and reassuring.
That's great! You know what they call the person who graduates dead last in their class from medical school?.... Doctor.

Even if the green arrow is showing, the X shows up if you hover over the popup. When you click the X, the text disappears but the green arrow is still there.

I've been keeping careful track of my joose usage since April. Turns out I use less than I thought, especially considering that I've become somewhat of a cloud chaser. I'll have an exact figure when I finish the approximately 300 ml of joose that still have from when I started tracking, but 6 ml per day is pretty close. I also have dropped to about 7 mg/ml of nic.

Internet: I pay a pretty high price for my 10 mps CenturyLink DSL connection, $74 per month. Today I went to the website and it looked like they now have faster speeds available. Even though they can't do the 25 mps installation until the end of January, they changed my price effective immediately to the new price, which will be about $48 per month, with no contract. Yay!

Yep I'm with the same company and phone and internet together is $163 cause I was using over the 1Tb limit and had to go to a business package to get unlimited data. Most of the tv we watch is streamed about 95% but I do get 40Mbps. It was either that or Comcast which I have heard slows greatly once people get home from work and still the data cap at 1Tb business plan is not available to private households.

Yep I found it, thanks. It was hidden by the green arrow but you could just barely see the ends of it under the arrow and it worked.

that is just priceless! Too precious!

Wow just had my semi annual cardio appointment there was a guy there that they said an ambulance was coming for him to take him to the hospital that is the heart hospital. I was talking to his BIL and he had a heart transplant something going on. He said he has had ........ for 6 months they haven’t been able to figure out the hospital wouldn’t have a bed till 1630. He said he was pretty sure that was what was going to happen. He said he should have taken him there in the first place. Hope he’s going to be ok.
oh wow........sure hope they figure out what's going on and get him fixed quick!

Stopping by for a hot minute, then I must get productive!!

Pretty. I make cards like that (or used to and will again when I get my card stock over here). But mine aren't quite that frilly. Hope things settle down for you soon sweetie!

that's horrible.....glad it got dropped, but it's likely just a matter of time. With amazon prime, I noticed that so many shows we watched for free with prime several years ago, now require a monthly fee for an add-on and there are so many. Brit box, and a whole bunch of other ones. Even hallmark now has a special channel or whatever that requires a monthly fee. It's ridiculous!

Jup, but I'd much rather go to someone who did far better than barely squeakin by.

No they did away with Net Neutrality that made that stuff illegal so the ISPs are now allowed to do that. So they can hit places like Netflix and the other streaming channels with an extra cost and they are now allowed to pass it on to the consumer. From what I can make of this which isn't much that I understand but the ISPs have the right to throttle your speed if you use sites that they don't prefer. I agree Amazon isn't anything to write home about. I hate it when they have a series and you get to the last season and they want $$$ for that one. They do that a lot also.

I use Century Link and Yahoo. Nobody could possibly make them go any slower without just unplugging them. Matter of fact, NOBODY has screen freezes like Yahoo.com and Yahoo mail.

Yep I have CL also and it does pretty good but I've noticed it is really hard to get a good stream on Kodi, seems like worse everyday. Watching one of our tv shows catching up and SD is the best I could do so guess I'll have to start DVRing them off of Dish then FF thru the commercials. Thats more then likely Kodi tho.

Language is a bit rough, but it is a good explanation of what will happen if net neutrality goes away

Yes this was done by a trump appointee, he was heavily "lobbied". Seems no matter who we send to Washington ther all turn crooked.
