I am pleased as punch with myself. I sent a package today, when I promised it would be in the mail by Friday.

a-a-a-a-a-and.......

I drilled a hole in the back of my drop-leaf desk for the mouse, keyboard, and camera cords. It is an old desk, but not that old. So much more convenient and neat. And when I want to watch TV, I can put the leaf up, and not have those cords sticking out.

I did drill a hole in the wrong place, where the drawer is, but no-one will ever notice it.

Yeah that picture of him in the blow up chair still cracks me up, he is such a guy. Hope Mike doesn't mind that I copied it here. But here it is for those that didn't see it. Really cracks me up, should put a smile on your face. Not only such a guy he's already device literate. Takes after old grampa I guess. Mike you should get a chair like that and photo shop it in. I love this pic everytime I see it I start giggling.
I decided I wouldn't do it without Mikes permission.
copied from Mike.

Do you mean this picture of Miles? And no ... at 3 years old he is not getting his own iPad for Christmas.

Is he getting an iPad for Christmas??
Did I overstep here??

Not a chance. Besides, he uses his mother's iPad... It's actually a great distraction when he has to have his nebulizer treatments. He doesn't like them at all, but the short videos distract him just long enough so it is a useful device. His parents don't have cable and rarely watch tv when the boys are awake. It's amazing though that at 2 years old he was able to find his stupid Blimpy videos or Thomas the Train. How is it that even infants are mesmerized by cell phones and computers?

I took the papers out so the cords could move freely. Hopefully he won't nibble the hole bigger to escape while all shut up in there.

I spent the evening sorting and dry-burning, had one to re-coil. Two more that didn't taste right and still have a lot of juice in them. Once I get them taken care of, it will be the refill factory. Flavor-flitting is a major job once every two weeks, when you do it right.

Well, The Mom is home from the hospital again. That's 2x this month she's been in. 1st for the UTI. Got that cleared up, & she collapsed during PT one morning. We got her home last night with adjustments to meds, diet restrictions, weight instructions, exersize instructions, etc. I finally got out to the Dr for myself yesterday, adjustment to bp med, Rxcs for this allergy junk I can't seem to shake. One day at a time!

Wow just had my semi annual cardio appointment there was a guy there that they said an ambulance was coming for him to take him to the hospital that is the heart hospital. I was talking to his BIL and he had a heart transplant something going on. He said he has had ........ for 6 months they haven’t been able to figure out the hospital wouldn’t have a bed till 1630. He said he was pretty sure that was what was going to happen. He said he should have taken him there in the first place. Hope he’s going to be ok.

Scary stuff. Can't imagine how awful that guy's life must be right now. Hopefully, they'll find a way to get him on the road to recovery.

How about you, Pat? Did you get a good report from the doctor?

Yep everything is about the same, this guy knows so much stuff he was telling me how my heart was putting out higher voltage but it was mostly because of my weight and he went on to explain it to me that if your standing 4' from a light the light has a certain intensity but if you move up to 2' away then the light actually gets 4 times as bright instead of just twice. He tries to put it in laymans terms. He understands it. He did say that when I get to a point that I need the valve replaced again he would be looking at doing it throught the artery instead of open heart again but he said thats a ways off yet so no worries. go back in May for my echo. So once I get this nodule off I should be ok for a while. My BP was pretty high for me it was 142/82 last time it was 125/52 which was a little higher then before. He told me just keep monitoring it and if it stays higher to increase my lisinopril but for now leave it the same and if I have any more palpitations let him know if they become regular and wear a halter for 24 hrs. He is also on the Heart Transplant team at the hospital that the guy was going to. His BIL said he would run him up but they said he needs to be on oxygen so they'd rather use an ambulance. He didn't look too bad but could tell he wasn't feeling well. They think it might be one of the meds that is giving him the ........ which I am sure there are a ton of with a transplant, hard to tell his age but I would guess in his 50's.
