Happy news to share! Daughter and hubby signed the papers for a house yesterday!!!!
We spent the day getting stuff moved, more to do tomorrow. She never thought she would ever own a home, she was crying a river of happy tears. We helped with the closing costs, he got a VA loan. We have so many ideas on fixing it up so she can do everything possible for herself (wheelchair and limited reach). We found some tables with telescoping legs for her craft room! She can reach the bathroom sink now! Little things most of never think of make life so much easier for those with limitations. Any ideas would be most welcome, too! These two pages have some great ideas.

And this site has a great PDF on problems and solutions for wheelchair bound people. I'm sorry I couldn't attach it here but I can't figure out how to do it on my ipad.

Well I might have some ideas is she paralyzed or does she not have any legs? Are her arms strong? Another thing is they rip you off on anything that is HC accessible, I found some things at Senior thrift stores. I think it is another of those BP like things. Sure some things are shorter or specially made but it doesn't give you the right to charge 3 times as much for it.
