Hey @Bea-FL She loves them. She loves these kind of soft hats even in the heat. She says her head gets cold. Was going to post these on a convo but decided I would put them here so everyone could see your beautiful work.

Well I'm so glad she likes them! With her feeling poorly right now I'm glad they made her smile :)

BTW you might suggest to her to try turning the blue hat so the flower is sort of on the side and see if she likes it better that way. :)

You're having northern Florida weather. Weird!

We have these summers once in awhile. I remember the year we had our first German exchange student. It was so hot I was seriously thinking of finding some blocks of ice to throw in the pool! It's an in-ground pool that was about as warm as bath water. We've also had summers that were so cool the we only opened the pool to clean it. It is what it is.

Oh how nice!! What a great idea and how kind of you to make them for Ginny. She looks adorable!

I can't seem to get the hang of knitting or crocheting properly. I've made some blankets to donate to the local vets office, but they didn't have to be perfect. The leftover yarn came in handy to cover wire hangars so clothes don't slide off. I'm pitiful, but at least didn't waste the yarn.

I agree Johnny. Ginny didn't care for it but I found it to be very interesting. But on the other hand I don't have but a few things by Stephen King that I haven't liked. The one thing I didn't really get was the last episode. If I have more questions I'll contact you by IM. But all in all excellent for me. I don't remember one thing and that was his signature, he is always in a cameo sometime in every film by him.

We decided to install power to our shed, got tired of running extension cords every time we wanted to do something. Our power tool collection keeps growing.

OK, we could have done it ourselves with in ground condute but decided to call in a professional electrician and boy are we glad we did.

The installation with a separate sub board and circuits took two days. When it came to connecting to the main fuse box metered supply we near had a heart attack at what the electrician found. The house is about 40 years old and the wiring at part of the fuse box had deteriorated and live wires were exposed and came close to the metal housing of the fuse box. It could have caused a fire if not electrocution to the unwary.

This fault would never have been seen as it was only revealed when the panel was opened to install a master circuit breaker for the shed. Of course it was promptly fixed. It pays to call in experts.

Sorry I didn't take the time to turn this around.
But I did. Love the picture.

And here are a couple of hangers-on who climbed up the side of my house in order to get out of the rain. It hasn't rained now for almost 48 hours, but this pair is evidently still feeling waterlogged. There was a 3rd one, bigger and browner, but I don't see him so I think it got dry enough on the ground for him.

I've seen several of those residing on my porch when I still had a lot of plants. One lived in a pot that sat on my patio table. He'd go out at night & come back while I was drinking my morning coffee at tha table. He wasn't afraid of me at all he'd hop from the fence to the table & climb into his pot.

Well, I'm off the IV infusions finally. It just got too stressful trying to find a vein. I'm moving to Humira which is a self injectable. [emoji58] Wish me luck! I can finally get it with an affordable co-pay, which is what kept me away from it for 20 years. Hoping it works well for me.

@Bea-FL , we need that sign for the booth!:lol::lol::w00t: (however, wouldn't go over very well with customers I fear)
Don't you wish you could hang it up? I can't tell you how often I wished I could do that when I worked at the vet hospital.

Ginny is finally past her 7 days of misery. Hoping when she wakes up from her nap she is feeling better today. Hoping the scan on the 15th shows at the least the C is stablized even better some shrinkage. She is really having a hard time remembering things. They took her off several of her supplements because they have detrimental effects on the cells the chemo is trying to kill. Her sister gets hers on the 13th to see if the oral chemo is having any effect on her C in her back now.

Her sisters daughter is staying with them now so that's a help and John her husband gets a little break. I think the newness has worn off from my daughter coming over to help. Not available for at least 3 more weeks . I'm feeling somewhat better today. Felt sick all day yesterday. Supposed to be 107 here today.

Went to town yesterday to pick up some prescriptions for Gin and on the way home stopped here and drank a couple of beers and listened to some music. It helped some for a short time.

Hopefully Ginny will feel better today. And I'm praying for some positive news on the 15th.

Jash looks so different already. They change so fast when they're little! (and they need changing so fast too!)

Us too Janet. She feels a little better but she got the run to the bathroom problem with this treatment. She ate some rice and bananas and it is a little better but now she is going thru a stage when things like water don't taste right to her. The water is fine comes from Culligan, this stuff is really messing with her memory. She remembers things but a lot of thinking it was yesterday when it was actually 2 or 3 days ago. She felt good enough to make bacon and eggs today, I been missing those, I just can't cook over easy eggs like she does and actually my bacon doesn't come out the same either.
