I been just allowing my browser to remember and then sync it. I was surprised that win10 that I just got was so easy to set up. Wifi/ethernet easy. Certainly blows my 9yr old win7 away!!

I recently got a new laptop too. I was dreading Windows 10, but it has really been a easy transition. Some thing work different, but once I thought it out, I had no problems.

I kept an index card of passwords but it got out of hand so I now have a file on my laptop. I keep a printout in the safe.

Probably good thing that we missed the roll-out of 10. I didn't update my 7 because of graphics and RAM. I was almost going to download Linux or Chrome OS, glad I waited.

I'm spoiled with this new pc with big screen and good internet. No more Managing everything to run right.

Ok, we all need a laugh so I'm telling on myself.

I made shrimp, salad & steak fries for supper tonght. I had salads plated, & frozen precooked shrimp in a bowl of water to thaw & stay cold while i made cocktail sauce & waited on the fries to bake. Put the colander in the sink for draining the shrimp. So far so good! Fries done, so I called Mom to come fix her plate picked up the colander, turned sideways to the sink & poured the bowl of shrimp right into the colander. Guess what I did wrong.

Uh, forgot to turn the sink as well? ;)

The train went off the tracks as soon as you turned sideways to the sink.

Yep! The colander did it's job & saved the shrimp & let the water go straight thru. Down my front & all over the floor! Mom was standing next to me. We were both shocked & confused. Then the laughter hit. I still have no idea where my mind was! I've still got this big whaaaaat? hanging in my thoughts.

Seattle (I'm south sound) set the daily record for worst air this summer on two days... Hasn't been anything thing to wash the air. Or put out the fires...
We also made the worst air in the world once this year and a few that were the worst in the US. I wish BC would keep their air up there. The one we got they said was worse then Beijing and New Delhi combined.

I'll be buying hubs a new notepad soon. Getting him one that the keyboard folds backwards over the monitor. He likes that. His ipad is about dead and he doesn't need a full laptop because all he does is check email and FB. But he likes a large screen and something that is easy to hold or sit on his lap.

Looked at Acer and now will look at refurbished HP if these notebooks are even available refurbished. Being fairly new in the market they may not be. All our laptops have been refurbished HPs for years and we've had good luck with them.

I've owned 2 Acers including the 18" laptop i7 core I now use. The other was a 10" netbook. Love them both! The netbook was easier for me to use because the keyboard was so small h the keys closer together. Loved that little bugger! I highly recommend Acers.

I think my first Acer product was a LaserJet clone back in the late 1980s. it had fairly few incompatibility problems using standard LaserJet drivers. (This was remarkable back in the day; typically when you bought a clone in those days you had to write your own drivers in 8080 or 8086 machine language.) Clones are so much simpler for vapers. :w00t:

@bigbells are you evacuating? Please stay safe.
No one in this part of NC is under an evacuation order... it's only the counties at the coast. However, ridiculous amounts of rain look likely, which makes power loss a good bet. The predicted maximum wind here is down to 41 mph.

I may voluntarily evacuate myself to my brother's place near Atlanta.

You may want to change directions and head North instead... The latest forecast model shows it may change direction a bit and Atlanta could well be affected if it holds true...

I know this is probably something for the FP but have any of you tried any of the new one shot flavors at ecigexpress. They used to just have a few now they have 75 many are made by them. Just curious. Good prices and not real high %. I like a couple from Adore but many of theirs you have to use 17+%

Ginny is having a terrible time. Now not only is she dealing with Stage 4 lung cancer and a broken ankle but her other foot that she has so much trouble with the nerve is really giving her grief. She can barely walk. I don't know how we are going to deal with it. I feel so bad for her. They have upped her prednisone, she is now getting it from the Cancer center cause the rheumotologist hands them out like they are opioids or something. She is trying 15mg today.

Me on the other hand have developed an infection in one of my stumps, the one I twisted and I woke up the other day and part of my face is numb. Most of the feeling has comeback but not all. We are a pair to draw to. I have been so tired lately, sleeping way more then I used to and not feeling rested. I've been putting off going to the cardiologist to get him to tell me about my echo done in May. He wants to see me but too many other things to deal with.
