As a species, we are fond of pointing out how much the cost of item X has increased since when we were young.

An exception is my monthly cell phone bill. I get an awesomely greater amount of capability than I got with my landline phone in the 1970s, for the same or less money that I paid back then, and that's without even taking inflation into account.

I don’t understand why they just don’t cast stuff anymore it worked for us.

Well, it does make it easier for me to clean up my act. I have a bath seat left over from when my mom lived with us (cancer too). I'm using it now - sit down, take off boot, turn on water and aah! A friend had a cast on her leg and had to go through the aggravation of putting a large bag over the cast and making sure it was sealed before she could go in the shower. I think I have it easy compared to that.

Me on the other hand have developed an infection in one of my stumps, the one I twisted and I woke up the other day and part of my face is numb. Most of the feeling has comeback but not all. We are a pair to draw to. I have been so tired lately, sleeping way more then I used to and not feeling rested. I've been putting off going to the cardiologist to get him to tell me about my echo done in May. He wants to see me but too many other things to deal with.

{{{{Patrick}}}} Maybe your infection is affecting your whole body? Maybe have some blood work done? Or it could just be this whole situation is making you mentally drained. Just make sure you mention this to your doc. There's so many things that can cause the tiredness and it could be a very simple fix. You need your energy especially now.

Root Beer Float is nice at their 15%, although I think I could blend my own at a lower total %,
I use TFA Root Beer Float at 5%.

It was me. Yup, that's the one. Officially, lateral malleolus - end of the fibula. The doc said that was good news as it was below the joint.

I'm sorry to hear you and Ginny are having so many problems. Wish I was closer and could give you some support.
Meee Tooo. We haven't actually seen the xray but it is sure giving her grief. She is putting so much stress on the other leg which is the one that she has trouble with every winter because of the pinched nerve that the doc operated on but the opening grew closed off some and the rest of her body she hurts all over. The cancer doc upped her prednisone to 15mg from 5 the rheumatologist had her on and that has helped some with that one. With these damned stomach surgeries we have had she can't take NSAIDS or Aspirin containing stuff because of the Chemo. Like I say if we go to Costco we are a real pair to draw to.

Here is the 5-day predicted rainfall total from Hurricane Florence. I'm in a yellow area but quite close to an orange area. Top sustained wind speed at my place is predicted to be 31 mph, a couple of times over the next 2 days, but the forecast is continually updated.

I put a light blue spot at baby Dave's approximate location... not scientific.. more like an educated guess that dropped out of school before taking the final exam.

OK, I admit it, I love reading and can totally get lost in a book. Stephen King's The Outsider: A Novel, is my latest in rotation. I checked out the ebook from our local library and haven't put it down since I started reading it this afternoon. I don't think there is a chance of me not finishing it before it's due date. All right, I did put it down to check email and my friends on here.

Hey we were talking flavoring and I wonder if you stick to the DIYorDie you'd have better luck. Don't know who this Wayne dude is but he seems to be popular.
Wayne is excellent at mixing & analyzing juice mixes. His own mixes wre great. Just not my flavor profile.
