As for yellow hair that is supposed to be grey/silver, use purple shampoo.

Actually - If anyone just wants to "Brighten-up" or make their "Grey"/"salt & Pepper" /or even Brassy (yellow stained ) hair standout a little more . . . Some of the products to use are Clairol "Shimmering Lights", L'Oreal "Serie Expert Silver Shampoo", or there is also Shiny Silver" by "One & Only", and Sally's Beauty Supply Generic "Shimmer Lights".

All I'll say is be very careful when and how you use these products, especially if you do not want BLUE / Purple Hair. FAIR WARNING ! ! !

NOW - Follow these instructions (AND - Best if done in shower):

Wash hair as you normally would w/regular shampoo to remove dirt/grease/buildup, rinse well with very warm/hot water . . . 2nd shampoo w/ Bluing Shampoo, use less shampoo - maybe the size of a nickel/dime (depending on the length of your hair) or less in the palm of your hand and spread in palm of your hand before applying to hair & scalp. Starting at the roots and working your way down to the ends. Massage the shampoo gently into your hair to create a rich lather wash/cover hair with shampoo - let sit on hair for 1-3 minutes - NO MORE - Then rinse well, condition if need be, and dry as you normally would . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

So glad to hear things are getting a little better for you. When I've had to stealth vape I exhale into a crumpled tissue or cloth to avoid clouds of vapor. We've actually gotten away with doing that on airplanes! Those 5 hour plane rides were awful when we smoked! I hope the food is decent where you are.
Well the food is hard to explain. I didn’t even realize it was possible to take perfectly good food and make it into something irrecognizabl. They do that here basically living on ice cream coffee. The food I would be very embarrassed to say I made it. Had some oatmeal this am and they did something that made it not taste like oatmeal. About 3 bites and I’m done. They have this mystery meat they serve as most of the meat dishes still not sure I think it’s cat food.

Well I found out why my shoulder hurts so bad. I shattered the socket that the ball fits in n. So that had to be rebuilt. Talk about pain.

Well when you do something ... you do it in a big way. Maybe it's time to buy a lottery ticket and get a big payout. Janet and I hit for a whopping 8 bucks. Just enough to buy some milk and 1/2&1/2 for coffee.

I turned 80 on Christmas Eve! I am with you 100% on the totally white "highlights". Only problem is that the white "highlights" don't like dialysis very much so they just choose to leave my head and gather on the bathroom floor..

As you were growing up, how did you handle having a birthday on Christmas eve? Our little Brodie was born on 12/29 so our holidays just got a little more hectic. I hope the Christmas/NY celebrations don't take away from his special day.

Since I was a post-depression child I wound up being the only one. My parents handled it very well by separating birthday and Christmas. The relatives families were numerous so there was never a birthday celebration that was not well attended. Later in life my friends would declare a random warm summer day as my "summer birthday" so friends and family actually benefited by having cake and ice cream mid-summer. On Christmas Eve I was allowed to open designated birthday presents and have some of the separate birthday cake so it all worked out very well. Instead of being serenaded with Happy Birthday at my summer birthday everyone sang Jingle-Bells!

That is an awesome way to make sure the 2 are separate.

Very similar to how we celebrated my son's birthday who was born on Dec. 16 when he was little. We didn't put up any Christmas decorations until the day after and on June 16 we celebrated his "6-month birthday". He always thought he was extra special because he had 2 celebrations whereas his friends had one.

You did good with using your computer while in bed and with a messed up shoulder too. Good job! So, did they tell you why you couldn't use your inflatable thing from home? Could it be that it changes the angle of your hips or interferes with your body alignment? Maybe they have something better that they'll show up with today? You probably should have the whole mattress because it's not just your .... that's in danger of bedsores.
