G'night, Legs! You sound much better! I always lose weight when I'm in the hospital for any length of time. I lost 75 lbs in 2 months, the first time I went in. It was wonderful! But the food was disgusting. But the Drs were getting freaked out about losing too much. I was ready to lose a little bit more tho. I kept it off for about 3 years then started putting it back on slowly. Still not up to where I was tho.

now that hit the nail on th head. i am still embarassed when i have to go #2. but my fave nurse and 2 fave aids today so things are good from here. don't know if i told you but ginny got the mahine set for her radiation she starts her 10 trmnts and gets started MONDAY the pain is starting to be managable. my spelling and grammar i not great which bells go mt mire self conscios aboh
Would Ginny happen to be getting the treatments at the hospital you're in? That might be too much to hope for. Don't worry about your spelling and grammar! We get it well enough! You're doing fine. Hope you were able to get some food that tastes half way decent. You can't afford not to eat! Remember the candy stripers that used to volunteer at the hospitals? I used to do that and I would have gone down and gotten a milkshake or something from the cafeteria for you!
I just finished watching a cute animation, action/adventure movie, "The Secret Life of Pets. I had recorded it from FX channel back on Christmas Eve. Good for kids and Grandpa approved.
no such luck Janet she has to drive 45 miles each way for a 10 min treatment.i'm aout 20 min from home. Its a rehab facility not a hospital but its ok my left brain looks like it went with my left arm by my spelling. most everyone is ok. There are a couple but get along with most everyone. NOt a pleasant subject but i think i have to take a dump. Been putting it off. they have to put mr in a sling and use a portable crane and hoist me onto the commode. Not pleasant
Ah here we are at Manor Care, your home away from home. Just accomplished what I spoke of earlier. Ginny stayed home today, she needed it. I feel like that song, Hello mudder hello fadder here I am at Camp Granada TMI. Think I'll try to go gack to sleep. Hpe you all have a good day. wish i had some high nic juice. don't want to chance vaping a lot. Ginny is feeling pretty good, tired alot. i love her and miss her so much don't understand why this cancer had to hit us. I hope she stays in remission a lomg time, brtter yet a miracle. keep praying please. we need a miracle on the porch. i wish i could be there now. well gnite all.
I'm sorry, I know it's not at all funny for you, but after your description of the sling and then to read that it just struck me funny. We've got a new infant here and a 2 year old who is trying to be potty trained so we're dealing with diapers all the time.
Well HELLO out there from old folks home.com.. I am now the proud owner of 1 1/2 Bed Sores. They are and me too lucky enough to have caught them and now headind South towards you @Iffy. My doc appt is on Friday after next and hoprfully go home. I have z wys to go. The food here is inedible even to a garbage gut like myself. I've told a couple of employees about it and one said, I'd kill myself if I had to eat it the other said he would be ashamed to say he made it. Oh boy looks like a new customer coming in, hopefully not my room.
I am up to making a transfer from bed to chair and the other way with help. Goin slow but goin. I can dp abput 90 min in a chair and have to hit bed. Goin to PU a Lot Vapes Orion Go, Pod System. Looks just right for sneaakin a vape occasionally. About the size of a pallm size transistor radio and looks like one too. No building involved just fill it and forget it.
The nurses are coming in and taking the staples out tonight, Oh Boy!!!! Hopefully gently. We'll see. So thats tonights entertainment. /don't ask I don't know why it did that. Maybe thats why tthey gave me early meds. Well signing off from old folkes land.

Maybe you could bribe one of the nurses to pick something up for you on their way in to work! Or look into having food delivered?
