Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Seven

Like I said in the coffee beans post, it sound to move on ECF isn't what it was when I joined 5 years ago it's become toxic. the decent people that are left are few and far between and it seems like they're leaving in large numbers. I don't know if it's just because they feel the same way that I do, or if there's something larger going on that I'm unaware of. The bottom line is I found another forum that I can share my love for electronic cigarettes on. I also don't have to worry about people getting their feelings hurt by me because you know what I don't always agree with them.

Sorry you've decided to pull out. I too have seen the changes around here ... but now-a-days I just limit myself to a few threads where I feel comfortable with the people. Perhaps you could consider the same instead of dropping out all together. Regardless best wishes to you.

@CasketWeaver, this is what I have done. Only a few lounge groups. I have enough drama in life, but I cherish my long time lounge friends.

Hope you stop by now and then and report on that wonderful baby (and any more to come!).

Hi, everyone, I've been out for a while. I know, my corner is usually quiet, lol. But I've had a really hard time this week, as I lost my Mom. She lived with us for 16 years, and I don't think we spent more than 10 days apart in total. We did everything together. I know she was ready and wanted to go, after she lost her 4th child in January. She said she couldn't face losing another of us. At 88 she had a long life. I know she had a good life with us. I just miss her so much. Thanks for listening.

My condolences on the loss of your mom. You were very blessed to have those years with her and the memories of those times you shared together. Hold those in your heart. My mom passed 25 years ago but she's still with me as an angel on my shoulder, sometimes with advice and other times I imagine her laughing in response to a silly situation. I still miss her too.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! Losing a parent, especially when you've been so close to them is so hard in so many ways. I still feel the loss of my Dad everyday, & he's been gone almost 30 years. So hard to believe.
