Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Please Pardon my Momentary Intrusion ..

My Memory is not what it used to be (who's is .. ??), but Pat's History on the BP from the Inception through Various Re-Boots and Incarnations always seemed to me to be pretty much a constant .. I remember him regaling us back in the day with the stories of the annual Trips he and Ginny would take in their RV and how much fun they would have .. those stories just don't feel like so long ago ..

Stories of his time with the Rail Road, and more ..

All things considered, I liked Pat a lot .. we were "Brothers in Arms", we shared a Love of Pink Floyd and what folks call "Classic Rock" these days, among other things .. at his best, he was a Good Man, that loved life and made the absolute best of the cards he was dealt .. that's all any of us can do ..

Back when "Hang Outs" on Google were the Shizzle, sometimes, Patrick would join in .. those sessions always seemed to have him sitting in his "vape Lab" like a Mad Scientist and making coils on camera ..

He shared Photos periodically, I remember some taken during his Youth that he was quite proud of ..

All in all, I think it's safe to say that, during the Good Times, Patrick and Ginny enjoyed Life to the fullest they could, with few regrets and many Good Memories .. which, at the end of it, is about all any of us can ask for .. in Todays World, their passing was at a relatively Young Age, yet it's Quality, sometimes, over Quantity ..

Carpe Diem ..

Take a few moments with me and hum or sing along .. I'm sure most of you know the words ::

Rest in peace, Patrick. Your gain is our loss. You take a little of each of us with you. Thank you for all of the humor, inspiration, & knowledge you gave us, & for the love you & Ginny shared with us. My heart is with their families right now. This is a second hard loss they've had recently. Love you, Pat!

He is missed already. And we will miss him for a long time. His stream of consciousness posts were interesting, I think he needed to write his thoughts down somewhere, and he chose here and us, which was a compliment. I think sometimes he felt apologetic about this, but I liked it, as an expression of his quirky self.
I loved that about him!

Patrick will truly be missed. The stories, the support, the inspiration for life.

Godspeed Patrick, you are reunited with your beloved Ginny. Sincere condolences to his family and all of us who will miss him so dearly.

Thank you for letting us know Mike.

Hey everybody. Take care during this heat wave. It's nasty out there!
I've moved my morning 9am walks to the evening lately. 86@10am already. Most people in my development have deferred their landscaping chores and barely get out to mow, lol. Weeds all over the place. Don't blame them at all.
I have central air but am cranking up this new portable system to aid. Very nice.

Not really, it's been awhile since any new pics.. :(. I will see Arthur and his owner in November - they will attend the November show here in Ocala and will be staying with us! So I will get to really get to know him!

Well, here is one of Ranger from July 5. Ranger is the one living near where I grew up near Chicago. He has Geordi's puppy face (and close front, which will get better as he matures). All legs and fluff (and cuteness!)

It's 8:00 P.M. 90 degrees outside with a heat index of 102. When temps reach 95 it doesn't really matter if it goes up to 100+ because it's just stink'n hot!

Can't even go in the pool (too hot outside to go swimming anyway) because we had to dump a lot of calcium, chlorine and other stuff in it so we need to run the filter for 24 hours. We're still stunned that our crystal clear water had so many problems. You much copper for some reason. When we first dumped the powders in it immediately turned green and cloudy! I was expecting frogs, snakes and lily pads to pop up! All we can figure is that algae was suspended in the water even though it looked crystal clear. Never saw anything like it. Anyway, it's looking good now and ready for the grandkids to come this weekend.

    9pm and 90 degrees.I give up,I’ve had enough

Agree ... same here. After the sun went down I went out to the pool to remove the tubes and floats and stuff. I couldn't wait to get back in the house. Spent hours in the pool today w/ Hux. Even Hux tended to the corner of the pool where the umbrella was providing some shade. He'd paddle out into the sunshine, turn to me and say too hot, too bright. The water was so warm it wasn't even close to being refreshing. But Hux had a great time and so did Pop-pop. :)
