So, this is where everyone, who's anyone hangs out! I was feeling a bit lonesome since PIF closed so I was just wandering around and found this cool little porch with some shade and a lot of sunshine! Would love to share some iced tea with you all and this little contribution; Clouds blowing clouds? What do you think it looks like?

Hi V! Welcome to The Porches! Sorry I'm late on the welcome, my daughter had surgery this week & I've been focused on her. Yeah, she's 5 hours away so I can't do anything, but texting with SIL is always great.

Thanks for sharing your porch, seems like these days all I do is sit! Ok and cook a fair amount, not a good combo tho! @Iffy I bought a Ninja Foodi last fall, has the airfryer/pressure cooker all in one, I must say it has replaced my oven for almost a year now. Love to have only 1 pan to clean and omg, not heating up a oven on one of these blazing hot days is the best!

Pif was so fun to be a part of, sadly when Lox passed away it was pretty much a ghost town. There were so many fun people that would just chit chat the night away. We'd tell stories late into the night sometimes laughing so hard tears rolled down my legs. I've been thru the blue foam, Taryn spin, tea bags, jery-rigged battery box mods, 510's, 801's, darwins, reo's. home made syringe tanks and even re-wrapped coils.

These days it's istick 20's, unflavored diy..life is so much simpler. I retired last year, this is the view from my "back porch" and I love getting up everyday to see the sunrise - have a great day everyone

I've been down to 1 diy juice for a couple of years now. No more flavor fliting for me. I was pretty limited to bourbon custards anyway. I finally found a taste for creamy fruits, but after 1/2 a tank I'd get tired of them & want my bourbon custard again. I have a box full of flavorings just sitting.

I've been thinking about getting the Foodi for awhile. Might go for it for my birthday present to me next month. And my 5th Vaperversary is 8/1. Don't need any vape gear unless I see a new HexOhm I want...

Well, had my first lake fail today...got one of these and ventured off the dock. Darn thing is to deep and when I tried to push myself back promptly flipped over. I'm sure that was quite the site

Have friends (Geordi's breeders) coming tomorrow for a BBQ and play time for the pups. Leave Monday for Salem, Virginia (Roanoak) and a dog show. This show is where my first Belgian Tervuren, Spock, earned his championship by going Best of Breed over Specials (already finished champions) back in 2003. Geordi is a Special (finished champion) and it's a Regional Specialty (a minor big deal - just the classes of Tervs). We are showing to support the club, mostly going for work. I have no control over what the judge likes, but Geordi is knockout gorgeous (to me! and many others) and we are going to have FUN!!!. Whatever the judge likes, I know I am going home with the BEST dog!! And should have money in the bank because it is historically a good $$ show and business is up.

Plus there is an awesome restaurant over one of the mountains (The Home Place) that serves fantastic, "home made" food family style. You order your meat(s) and they bring out platters of meats, potatoes, gravy, veggies, all sorts of goodies and keep filling the plates until everyone at the table screams "enough!". Then comes the cobbler..... We have a group we go with every year and always have a grand time!

I got the split-back tape. I love it. It has been getting hard for me to peel the regular labels.

Brother label printers come with a VERY handy tool, but I don't think they explain it very well. It is a flattened stylus with a point at one end and a slot at the other end.

If you put a finished label (up to about 3/4") through the slot and twist the stylus so you are putting some reverse curl in the label, then pull the label out of the slot (much like using the edge of a knife or a pair of scissors to put a curl in a bit of ribbon), then the backing will lift away from the label easily.

Then by sticking one end of the label to the pointed end of the stylus, you have a handle to place the label very precisely, at which point you pull the tip of the stylus out and finish pressing down the label. (This all takes just a few seconds - much faster than explaining it.)

Wayfair, they were on sale still a little on the expensive side but I hate vinyl and this has a canvas type of outer cover on it. I'm thinking tomorrow I'll let a little air out and venture again. That is if my water shoes don't have that pungent smell of lake muck lol

They are beautiful dogs, good luck with the show and anxious to hear how Geordi does!

I found the slot. Now I have to find the directions
