Matt, so nice to hear you've FINALLY landed and got a little free time. Not to worry though, I'm sure you'll find something complicated and difficult that has to be fixed or improved. My crystal ball says you'll be quite busy soon enough. Just make sure you rest up before getting started.

Already started. These are the track lights I installed yesterday. In all the years my MIL lived here she never did anything (or had anything else done) to brighten the living room up. It was acave at night.

Well bad news, our SIL who was so sick with cancer passed away today. She was in a Hospice and Ginnys brother went down to be with his Brother on Sunday so he is there to be there for Mick also Ginnys brother. Caroline was a really nice lady and at least her suffering is over.

Even though he is in the AF he is always stationed at an Army base or a joint base. That's why she is at Ft.Bliss. That's his job. I think she will be OK it's just being so far away it sucks. the doc thinks she is having a bigger problem with anxiety then depression. So they are called FRG's. I'll check that out for her. I know she can get a little support and she has a friend there that her husband is a TACP just like Jacob and is also over there. I'm pretty sure she will snap out of it. It's just overwhelming I'm sure. They have a big beautiful house there she is trying to get his dog better so she will be there when he gets home plus her dog, taking care of the place and driving his truck occasionally to keep it running good, working full time with a lot of OT around the 1st of the month cause it's a mortgage company. She has a full plate and she's never had to deal with all that by herself before.

She'll be fine I'm sure. I was a basket case for the first 3 months. I was driving home one day, was about a block from the house, and was just suddenly seized with fear that there would CAOs at the door when I pulled in. I was sitting at a stop sign.......and God just kinda spoke to me and said...... Do you think you're the one who has protected him all these years?? well........ no....... but...... Then He said....... Is there anywhere he can go that My hand can't reach??? Noooooooo but...... well once that all sank in, (took a lil while). I was much better. Not to say I didn't panic occasionally, but I was much better. Another trick....... if I didn't hear from him for awhile.......I'd sign into the bank acct online to see if he'd spent some money......if he had, he was okie dokie. lol

I bought a Walther PPKS .380 with Crimson Trace laser sight grips for my Bride. Seven rounds in the mag plus one in the chamber. When you pick it up, the laser comes on. Put the dot where you want the bullet to hit.

I like it!! Then ya just gotta make sure ya don't jerk when firing. Breathe in, fire on exhale so I've heard. Would love to take a class and get better. That laser would help a lot! Might not even have to shoot if they happen to see the laser on em. But I do know ya never pull one if yur not ready and willing to use it.

Anyhoo...you know how you "haaaa" on your glasses to fog them up to clean them ?

I skipped ahead. I was 129 posts behind and no hope of catching up. I am just as busy here as I was in Virginia. Things will slow down after the PODS is delivered. Have yo get rid of the existing furniture and other stuff to have room for our stuff. Most of Doree's mom's stuff is really beat up and past it's useful life. She has the weirdest microwave I have ever seen. I'm very tech savvy and can't figure out how to even set.the time on it. It's one of those $99 cheapies and has a bunch of preprogrammed buttons. It's outta here along with a ton of other stuff.
