stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
splain more please. I tried looking this up and did find a video for making a wreath form from a pool noodle! Heck of a lot cheaper than actual wreath forms.

that stinks

he didn't leave us. He's been staying so late at work trying to fix a really bad thing that happened.....he only makes one or maybe two very brief posts a day

oh good, hope the blog tour helps. We did those with stamping also. Lots of fun.

I do........they aren't as sturdy as they used to be and non stick is better than it used to be. I pretty much soak everything anyhow so rarely have to actually "scrub" something. I use it on plates, flatware, everything. I get em at Sam's in a big box, then cut each of those in 1/4's I just can't stand using sponges in the kitchen (that's what my dil uses) I just feel like these are cleaner, and even though I bleach out her sponges from time to time, I don't like doing it since bleach makes me itch really bad......I still feel like ya use em one time and they're nasty again lol I know in my head the dishwasher probably sterilizes em at least somewhat, but I just can't feel comfy doin that either.

lmao.......JUP! Now when the GPS starts sayin turn left where the old firehouse used to be.......we'll really understand it!! Turn north, south etc......makes me wanna chunk it out the window as I'm yelling......I gotta know which way I'm going to know which way north or south is.....if I knew where I was.......I wouldn't need directions!!! lol

thanks hun. Turns out I did have that in my reminders.

Yay for her!!!!!!! That's fantastic!!! hope they can pcs to your area. I'm with you.......I tell em y'all already know more about me than I do........why is this necessary???

You might wanna just call em and ask what the appt is for before you cancel it. Then if it's not important to you.....don't go.

Hope you can get the bone scan thing straightened out. Might have to fight it a bit......but don't give up since the doc recoded it.

With direct when we had it before, the only time I lost reception from rain was when there were just a few drops falling. When it really rained, it would come back on or straighten up. It usually didn't go totally out. With dish we really only had trouble once in awhile, not very often. Of course it was always during one of two favorite shows that I'd dvr'd so had to find it on amazon prime and pay for the episode.

Jup this is what I say about our military. Don't get me wrong.......I cherish our military..... but I say on the ground......they can't be beat. But put one piece of paper in front of em and you can take em out! lol

sorta watched it........not really. had it on while catching up on threads

JUP!! Makes me very sad.
Slice off a piece of the pool noodle= scrubby. P.S.notice cellular structure of noodle. Some are closed cell (ticht\smooth) others are open cell (lots of holes) both work. I like open cell but they don't last a real long time

I think I've got my decorating done...it's only taken me about a week...cuz I keep changing things around...and i didn't even put up a large tree, just a tabletop! And no lights of any sort outside.

This time I'm gonna take pics so that all i have to do next year is look at them and know just where to put the decorations:D

I did that when I called. It was for emphazima so don't know what they could've done for that. Any one who smoked heavy for 45 years probably have it to a certain extent.

This will be our first Christmas, since our marriage (47.5+ years), without a tree! It will also be the first Christmas morn gift exchange outside of our abode...

Fer moi, not so much a sad change, just a lil' nostalgic wid a large dose of reality! We know our limits (mostly). Just pray our kids can remember more than Patty and I can nowadays.

BTW, she had a major disorientation episode the other day and is just now regaining some strength. What an awesome trooper/angel she be! I'm SO Blessed...

Maybe a little early, but may each of you find the Peace you seek during this most Holy Season!

OK, ophph to phinish my two Noel projects...

We had our first significant rainfall in months. Not enough to call it a drought buster, but it sure is welcome. Don't really want to get it all in a single event anyway... that's called flood. Historically, this season brings us some day or two long soakers. The 'new norm' sucks. (notice my avatar).

ok. Kinda thought that, but figured it wouldn't be very pliable. Have never really even touched a pool noodle I don't think, just seen em.

Thank you.

lol glad you got it all done, and jup this is a good idea, but you'll likely want it different.

We always had to do whatever we could do financially each year. My son's dad would spend Christmas with us.....but he was a prison guard at the time, and so Christmas might happen up to a week or so before or after the fact. Same with the rest of the holidays when he'd come up. Down side is, we didn't have much in the way of traditions. Good side is, we didn't have to really watch died in the wool traditions come to an end.

So glad Patty is beginning to get some strength back, but so sorry she went through that. Uhmmm and what are these projects of yours?

Oh, and saw this in an email I did open from 101 vape. Have been deleting most of them. Looks interesting for those who have trouble with how much pressure to apply with coil jigs that have the cap you turn, or maybe those who want twisted coils but don't have a drill

We cut back to a 3ft table top tree a few years ago with some tinsel and a few lights in the house. Without kids in the house - it just does not feel like it is necessary to dress up the whole house and yard.

Now what do I do with all these decorations I have???

Sorry that Patty had that episode and that she continues to gain her strength back.

I'm sure the kids will remember! I know ours always bring up lil tidbits that Peter and I have long forgotten.

I deleted 99% of all my GF sale e mails. There was one I was waiting for, and got that with a 30% off, so it was worth it.
There is nothing out there now that I need......maybe 'want out of curiosity '.....but don't need a thing. Very grateful for that!

We've cut back quite a bit ourselves, and honestly, if it weren't for the grandbabies, we would do even less.....as it is, Christmas is still at Mama's house cause I choose to have it that way, but each year, I say, 'this is the last'. Gifts are now limited to the grandbabies....we have family come in for a week, so that is our gift to each other!

To heck with the "holiday season"

Merry Christmas!!!!

I never stopped saying MERRY CHRISTMAS, pc or not.....it was Gracie correct, that was enough for me.

So MERRY CHRISTMAS
