Only when I get done here. Next is the master bath. Gonna move some walls, reconfigure the master walkin closet and rip out a huge garden tub (looks like a swimming pool) and put in a huge 4 head shower. 2 regular heads, 1 massage head and a rain shower. Doree is on my behind to get it done. I'll post some pics of what we have now when I can take em. Too much stuff in there now. Since we're not using it right now we've been storing stuff in it. Mostly boxes we haven't emptied yet as there is no place to put most of it right now.

That's our plans for our master bath. Huge "garden" tub and tiny shower. Take out the tub, turn it into a nice walk in shower. Turn the current shower into a closet. RL keeps getting in the way. We do have a 2nd bathroom with a tub should a bath feel necessary (like for dogs in the winter ;) )

Then stay right there!:D

I wish I could be a snowbird..these winters are finally getting to me!
Make plans now and you can stay in my time share on the beach in November this year. Not quite sure what week it is but, I know it's in November. You can even bring a friend or two. Would love to see you. Been trying to figure out how to get you down here since the Odyssey. :) (Bring Yiddle with you.:thumb:)

We don't even have the tiny shower. The tub is sunken into the floor and is literally at least 18 to 20 inches deep. Neither Doree nor I can get in and out of it so we just don't use it. The sink and vanity are in a seperate area from the tub and terlet. The room the tub and toilet are in is so big it's like going potty in a gymnasium, or at least like the bathrooms in high school. We use the guest bath for now and it has problems too. Should have been retiled 10 or 15 years ago so I think it's got a mold problem. Master first, then guest. Actually getting a J.O.B. is first. I'll start applying next week or so. Kind of like to work in the electrical department at Lowe's. We'll see. (Damn! That's a dirty word!:-x:lol:)

Oh by the way... Happy New Year Everyone and here is prayers for a great 2017.

Sore as in good exercise, or as in triggering back problem? Quite an accomplishment, either way. Yard-work is a great excuse for getting good exercise.
My back hurts no matter what I do, constant pain. What hurts today are my arms and knees. It is what I call a good pain because it was gained by doing some good work/exercise like you said. I didn't aggravate my back with bending and stooping. To pick up the leaves I used two rakes and picked them up and put them in a trash can. I then used a 9x9 tamper and tamped them down. Loads and loads of leaves can be put in a bag that way.

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
I am happy to report that my companions and I remained unscathed before, during and after last night's festivities .. after a nice meal and intro cocktails at a Mexican eatery, I sat in with a local Band at a local Bar, later hitting the Lumiere Casino for a bit of Video Poker .. having trained as an expert in libations and subsequent driving, for many, many years, I refuse to allow fear of driving on "that night" to rule my natural instinct to have a good time .. I just don't have that many left .. ;) .. besides, if memory serves, the 4th of July is the most dangerous time to be motoring at the same time as the "amateurs" .. at any rate, I'll take my chances, I know my limits .. "Carpe Diem" and all that .. :)

And, to shake it off, like Diver .. I got up this AM, the sun was out and I hit the yard for Round One of Winter Yard Cleanup, a brisk 42 degrees .. (It's generally 3 rounds) .. (wish you were here, especially for the yard cleanup .. ;)) .. I am now off to Shop Vac out the basement sump pumps (2), a required yearly maintenance .. I will then consume some leftover home made Jambalaya with Brown Rice and the Traditional Black Eye peas for New Years Day, make a large shaker of Classic Margarita (Patron, of course, shaken, not stirred, please) and settle in to watch the "Chicago" doc/drama on CNN .. :)

Well Unc I'm glad to hear you had a good evening. I actually was in the sack by 10pm and slept through the introduction to 2017. Up at 6am because I just can't sleep more than 8 hours. Spent today watching foorball. Watched the Dolphins get their .... kicked by New England and am now watching the Giants -vs- Foreskins game. Needless to say I'm rooting for the Giants. Never liked the Redskins.;):)

Same here Matt except I woke up to a noise looked at the clock wrong thought it was 2 but it was 1201 and the fireworks woke me up. Watching 49ers and Seahawks and so far Kapernik is kicking our butts. Wilson just doesn't seem to have his head in the game since he got married. I think he's going to have to figure out what's more important that hot chick at home or making millions a year.

I don't know about "shaking it off" but good meds make it easier to tolerate it. lol
I did find something that will help with cleanup next year.

In 1989 we got about 2". I think it was 1977 we got a dusting. In 1957 or 1958 we got about 4". Parts of North Florida got a treat at the southern end of the "Blizzard" of February 2010. Yep, just 3-4 significant snowfalls in the past 50-60 years.

I'm ever so happy to report I haven't spent all of that time period in North Florida. :)

Nope. Doesn't look like North Florida. The last time there was that much snow here was probably in the 17th Century. Right now (at sunset) the temperature is 70°. I wish I could relocate to a place which better suits my taste in weather. It doesn't appear the cards are falling my way.

EDIT: I just got back from a short evening walk. I am forced to admit, it is a very pleasant night at around 70° and overcast with a slight breeze. It would be most welcome if this were July or August, but for January 1 it is not.
