When you are filled with rage and self loathing and don't want to talk about it but you have to talk about it or you will explode and you wish everyone would just shut up and go away but you need your family to lean on but they really piss you off and the noise is making your teeth hurt and you are so tired but everything is clenched in anxiety and you just want a dark silent room to rock back and forth in but you have to go to the place and do the thing and no one understands why you are having issues not that they would care

At the time of this posting, it is going on 10PM in the middle of January, and it's 60° outside. :-{You're all invited to avoid the icy roads this Sunday and join us for some warm (hot?)conversation...

I haven't seen snow in nearly seven years. I honestly enjoyed my trip to Atlanta in February 2010. And here are a few of the many photos I took.

There's a solid sheet of ice covering the parking lot at the hotel. I waited 'til checkout time hoping it would melt. It didn't.

I guess these photos are more for the Southerners in the room.
Y'all Yankees, nothing to see here, LOL.

Ok, forget what I said about going outside & sunbathing.Well it hit a high of 10 today down to 6 now.
I've seen snow like that. Possibly even deeper. Seriously! It was during ski season in southwest Colorado. Gotta admit, it blew my mind. The snow on both sides of the road was sculpted as in your photo and it looked like the road had concrete walls on both sides. I always have wondered what kind of machinery was used to do that. I guess your picture shows.Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe, NV this morning.....I'm a transplanted Westerner....not a Yankee, nor are Nevada or California northern states ...![]()
Ivd be worried if they have bumpers! [emoji6]I have a 30 day return policy and 3 year 3,600,000 step bumper to bumper warranty.

But, the comment at the bottom of my photos was intended to mean, apparently, the opposite of how you took it. I meant, if you're very familiar with snow than the photos wouldn't be likely to impress you. Someone who sees snow once in 10-20 years, like me, thinks it's pretty nifty.
I've never seen anything like that. But then, I avoid anyplace cold!I had to do some hunting to locate these photos. Yeah, I took these myself, of my hubcap. This was in Colorado in the mid 1970s. The temperature was rising on a sunny day, the air temperature remained well below freezing, but the warmer blacktop road had snow melt on it. Cars sharing the road had splashed enough water on my car, in the freezing air, to cause radial icicles to form around my hub cap. When I saw this, I grabbed my camera and snapped a few, I thought it was so cool. Hadn't seen anything quite like it before, or since.

Have any of y'all seen this phenomena before?
So glad it didn't get as bad as they say. Hope Sterno escaped really bad stuff too. Hope y'alls Tstorms don't get bad either. We're due for a bit of a watering too.It looks like we have missed the bullet on this ice storm where I live. I live in SE OKC not far from Tinker AFB and we just got a small amount of rain and it didn't freeze. Not too far west they had some ice on I-40 that caused problems. I also hear we could have thunderstorms tomorrow morning. All of the prep I did and I never thought about getting the storm cellar ready. Welcome to Oklahoma, if you don't like the weather just wait a couple hours.
that was interesting. ThanksThere are quite a few things which are normally considered healthy, which are on her lists of things to either not eat, or eat only in small amounts. She also has to limit her fluid intake, which kind of makes sense.
Every medical opinion I've read, and my own doctor, have sung the praises of drinking plenty of water... but, not when you're taking dialysis.

I doubt ya wanna get out, but if you want a larger space to walk around in without freezing, maybe drive to a mall and walk there? You don't get the terrain, but it's a thought.I wish icould go out for a walk on these.
((((((((((Russell))))))))) that worries me. It really seems that whoever you see isn't getting your meds or something right. Have you considered contacting a crises unit or something like that? When you are filled with rage and self loathing and don't want to talk about it but you have to talk about it or you will explode and you wish everyone would just shut up and go away but you need your family to lean on but they really piss you off and the noise is making your teeth hurt and you are so tired but everything is clenched in anxiety and you just want a dark silent room to rock back and forth in but you have to go to the place and do the thing and no one understands why you are having issues not that they would care

Got Snow????
I don't recall seeing that on tires, but then I've tried to block out many of my experiences living in super cold conditions. But.....I did see a similar thing when I used to make ice. I'd make ice with distilled water. I'd have spikes like sticking straight up off the ice cubes. It was weird.Have any of y'all seen this phenomena before?
