Well heres a pic of the new ones along with the phone app that I can make adjustments on. It's going to take a little getting used to they have way more motion and more of your foot stays on the ground when you walk. I'll have to say so far I like them better. Once I get them set the way I like best then I will go in and he can set them to that which will put all my settings to 0 like you see but they will actually have my configuration. I can make changes up to 10% he can make more. I think they are going to be fantastic once I get them set perfectly for me which is hard to do when you can't go outside and try them walking on uneven ground. They look a lot heavier then they are it is a carbon fiber housing for the electronic and battery. You'll have to zoom in yourself to get a better look at them. Will do a video when it thaws out here enough to see how they move. Ginny couldn't believe the way they move like real ankles.

Dang Pat ... that's some high tech gear. So glad your health benefits qualify you for them. You do have antivirus protection on your phone I hope. Don't want to hear the Russians hacked you and you wind up walking in circles or "sumpin".

One time, when working alone in the house I heard a noise from the basement. Looked out the windows and couldn't see anything so I called the police. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door and there were the police with the oil delivery guy. I felt so sorry for the guy, but I couldn't see a truck from the house. 2 years later my I was stuck on the side of the road when a guy stopped to help. Turned out it was the oil delivery guy!!
What a small world!
Ya'll going to think I've got serious problems with wheat (brown) bread, but the stuff always reminds me of sandwiches with wet, wilted lettuce leaves. Anyhow, why do they call it wheat bread? Like, white bread isn't made from wheat? In fact, wheat is the first listed ingredient listed in a loaf of potato bread. Same for rye bread, though I understand it's made with rye as the largest ingredient outside the US>
I prefer whole wheat bread for most things. Wheat bread does not mean whole wheat. They leave it brown and call it wheat bread when they're trying to trick you into thinking it's whole wheat.

Once they refine it so that it's no longer whole wheat, even if they add the fiber back in, the refined flour is still refined (made to be a more simple starch that turns to sugar faster). Not good for diabetics.

Most grains do not rise. So, breads are mostly wheat, no matter what kind of grain they put on the name. Only wheat has the right balance of proteins and gluten to be able to rise well and therefore make light, fluffy bread.

I'm hoping for no Russian hacks. I'm afraid they'd make me take a long walk off a short pier. These things are waterproof but only to 3'. Maybe if the tide was out I'd be ok. Still trying to get the perfect vape. I'm trying to figure out what is easier on my lugs. A real easy draw like no restriction or choked down. Been using my STM's need to change my MTL in a couple cause I tried the smallest which is a little too tight. It's made a difference lowering my flavoring to 1% and nic to 2mg. But I have around 5mg in my Kabuki which I really like also I just wished they held more juice but a really nice vape with a 1.6 head and the air opened to just where I like it. I grab it alot.

These legs are getting better as I get used to them, they have at least double the movement if not more from front to back. I have reduced the resistance in them. Once I get them set just right for me I can go in and get Glenn my prosthetist to set it on his app and set mine back to 0 so I can adjust 10% either way. They've come a long way in the past 5 years. My others had movement but these are really amazing. I have Railroad Medicare which seems to be a lot more lenient then normal Medicare. They OK'd them right away and the RR supplement I have will pick up 100% of the 20% Medicare doesn't cover. Can't wait to see what they charge for these, I'm guessing somewhere near 20k each.
Been trying to figure out what would be best for Kay to get for her TV. I'm going with an antenna and Netflix and Amazon but might not work in her area. I know with an antenna you get more channels then whats available with the local package from dish. There are actually about 5 more channels. If I was closer to town I'd consider it but with the package I got it's only $25 but that's because I've been with Dish since the early 90's. They don't even offer it to newer customers.

Now, I can't get that image out of my head. I keep seeing poor Patrick walking in circles.

Nope no footlights except for battery charge and bluetooth. Oh also for Apparel fiting where they lock in the toes pointing down to allow for easier getting pants on. I'm going to stick with the shorts cause my suspension liners have to be pulled up after sitting and don't think it would be appropriate to remove my pants to pull them up.

When was your last chest xray? Even if it was recent, they may need to take a closer look.
I had a CT in November but I'm going to see a civilian Pulmonologist next month. It's probably the Emphazima. It's getting better cutting my flavoring and nic down. Haven't had it in about a week. I knew I should've smoked the cigareetes most preferred by doctors.

I am getting cortisone patches. It m has a battery, salt water on one side, the cortisone solution on the other, and the saltwater draws the cortisone into the problem spot. Safer anf more comfortable than the injections although not as effective.
interesting, never heard of something like that. Hope it's less damaging to the bone than the cortisone injections. God forbid they up my vic 5 mg a day, but they'll happily shoot me full of enough cortisone to destroy the bones.

(I'm beginning to wonder if Piraro, the cartoonist, lurks around here.... )
is he related to big brother, cuz he's lurking everywhere yanno

Correctin a joke. Long walk off a short pier don't maik mutch sense. Long walk *on* a short peer iz funeee.
YMMV
unless he reely iz walkin in curkels, goin fer a long walk on a short peer will send him right off it.....so he wuz rite!

So glad for you. You are one of the very fortunate few when it comes to insurance!

It was probably those unfiltered Kools I used to steal from my dad.
Jup them thangs will kill ya! My brother used to smoke those. they were rough. I never did like menthol, but those were the worst I tried.

Probably less so, since it is a smaller dosage more often. I have never had a broken bone, and no mention of anything on my xrays. But more exercise will definitely help.

Remember that I hope to move to California. I here there is a med available out there that helps with pain, has anti-inflammatory properties, and is safer than the alternatives.

I agree that 36 years really paid off in the end. Sometimes I don't understand it it is still Medicare but it is paid through a different place then normal Medicare it's called Palmetto and seems to be a lot more agreeable to covering things. I guess thats why we put up with the hours and not having a home life worth it in the end.

Watch out for scams Deb. They hacked Netflix, I take it you have AT&T so it could be the same kind of scam. They are getting real professional about it. I watched it on the news with Netflix and you go there asks for some info then takes you to the real site and you don't even know you've been hacked
A lot of IP addresses can get"blacklisted" for originating spam without being aware of it. Call the U-verse folks and gripe. Can't hurt.
