So appropriate given my dreams last night, the sleeplessness, Kenna, and the realization that the smaller cortisone patch doesn't mean less cortisone, it means quicker.

Hey @oldbroad there is another way for you to get live tv. If you have somekind of a box like Roku or Fire or Kodi you can get USTVnow app or addon and you can get the networks for free 9 channels available. I've heard it's pretty good also available for tablets and smartphones if you want to pay $19 a month you can get 29 channels. I haven't tried it out but several people use it guys in the military overseas that have decent internet use it a lot. And if you want to pay $29 a month you can use DVR which I believe is saved for you on a cloud or something. That price is for 3mo then goes up $10 so not really a big savings/

ahhh...the Welcome Wagon !

Those were always fun !
I remember hearing about those, but we never got one anywhere we moved. Of course, they may have tried. Most of the time growing up, it was just me and my dad. He'd have been at work and me at school, unless it was summer.

Sometime in March. He's still waiting to sew on which is what they call it now when you get promoted. He can't do it till he is set up with a date for ALS Airman Leadership School which is in New Mexico so he is trying to get a waiver so he can re up as E5 6k difference in bonus plus he wants to do it over there so there will be no IRS bills but he has 30 days to do it once he is back. He's got 5 1/2 years in of a 6 year enlistment going to re up for 4 more. The ALS is 5 weeks but he has to have 2 weeks at home when he gets back. He'll go for the 5 weeks to NM coming home on the weekends it's a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. USAF is a lot tougher on rank then the Army it seems to me. I think he will be able to work on it more now that he is back in Kuwait with his computer.
That's wonderful! That's nice he's re-upping. and Jup, the tax free bonuses are nice when they're done over there.

First thing he told me was not to worry, we can fix this.
Glad to hear this part! You're more important than the to do list!

Alrighty! Infusion went fast today! After 6 sticks they found a vein on the side we aren't supposed to use & 2 hours later it was done! They are using pumps now instead of gravity feed. Fine by me, that 5 hours thingy was rough. Hoping I can sleep tonight, i came home, ate lunch, & slept for 4 hours. Plus I slept through the infusion!

glad it went well. Hoping the whole process does! Glad you got some rest too!

And consider getting the ultimate DIY/workshop tool and let 'it' do the work for you. Just think it could work 24x7 and get you caught up on the to-do list.
yur gonna build him one, right? and if that one goes well, the rest of us can sign up for one :D

Off the computer for the remainder of the afternoon, but came across this encouraging article earlier and wanted to share.

Two infants treated with universal immune cells have their cancer vanish
wow, that's wonderful. But this part made me see red
“We estimate the cost to manufacture a dose would be about $4,000,” she says. That’s compared to a cost of around $50,000 to alter a patient’s cells and return them.

Either type of treatment is likely to cost insurers half a million dollars or more if they reach the market.

... and does 'it' run the latest version of 'Android'? :D

you know how much trouble them wimminz can be.

{watch out!... incoming!!! ~~ ducks-n-dives!}

I fell cracking my back on the edge of the terlet. Hit it hard so needless to say couldn't get in a comfortable position seems a little better now but cancelled my appt. to get my legs adjusted, hard to take a deep breath cause I hit a rib up in the middle of my back.
oh dang hun......hope you didn't really hurt yourself and just don't know it yet. Really hope it's all better very soon.

And the answer is: French Macarons filled with choc/almond buttercream. They turned out delicious! Wish you were here to taste 'em.
yummmmm have always wanted to try those. I only recently found out that those are macarons, and the coconutty things are macaroons. stampin up came out with a color called mint macaron, and it drove me nuts that folks weren't saying macaroon, til I learned the difference. According to the food network folks those can be kinda tricky to make. If you let em dry too long or not enough before baking, they don't turn out right. Those look very yummy.

Happy Birthday 3mg!!!!

OMGoodness, just earlier this morning, I walked in the kitchen, and asked hubby....'why did I come in here'......he told me why!
He's even better than I thought! My son speaks fluent mamanese, but he never knows what I was fixin to do or say. And I do ask, all the time.

I guess I need to focus on just doing one thing here and there and hope it adds up to success the way vaping did.
Jup! Don't let it overwhelm you. Little bit at a time will get you there.

I hope so too. The rib I hit in my back hurts all the way to the front, makes it really hard to cough. Living on pain killers and position changes. The whole left side of my chest hurt even though I only hit it maybe an inch or two from my back bone. Really wacked it.. I was able to sleep last night sort of sitting up and on my back with my head high enough it took the pressure off my back. If it gets too bad in bed I'll come down to my recliner.
