We don't have many choices here. Really small town.
The only Strongbow I was able to find was the basic one. I will see if I can fiind the others you mention but I don't remember seeing them anywhere. Maybe when we do our next run to the big city though so putting them in the cell phone notes.

I am picky about alcohol and really very rarely drink so I was pleasantly surprised by the ciders.

Yep, the ciders are very easy to drink. They are lighter and sweeter than most beers. They also have dry ciders and sweet ciders, so it's kinda like wine in that way. If you do look for them next time you're in the city, definitely look for the Honey Strongbow... that one is the absolute best. Don't bother with Woodchuck or Woodpecker... both would do in a pinch, but they definitely aren't at the top of my list. Pretty much all of them are better when poured over ice than they are straight out of the bottle though.

Now if I could figure out how to DIY that sour apple taste in an eliquid I would be a happy girl. I've been buying MBV Apple Rings on occasion for years and it is as close as I can come to it. I have had ZERO luck duplicating it with a DIY so far. LOL

I've got a couple apple flavors that I can play with. I'll see if I can come up with something fairly close and let ya know. :)

Nothing really. Just keep on being yourselves and let me enjoy peeking into your lives. No matter how I try to stop it, I always get a little blue around this time of year. I think it's a combination of less light, and missing the loved ones that I know won't be around.

Mama is gone now, and she was the glue that held us all together. When she was alive, we all made plans for the holidays to spend time with her. She SO loved cooking for all of us. Now, it's like every man for themselves. I know I won't see my son and grand girls. There is another one on the way, and this time it's a boy.

I'll be working for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The crew is my other family, so it won't be too bad. I'll get through it. I always do.
My grandmother was the head and center of the family until close to the end. All holidays were celebrated at her house. Our family isn't as scattered as yours. Yet, none of us are very social and friendly. I come by my reserved nature naturally. So, no family celebrations since my grandmother died.

Luckily, one single person in the next generation seems to have what it takes to maybe change that. The daughter I live with, Melinda, is the most likely person to take my grandmother's place as the center of holiday celebrations. She actually likes to cook and is more socially adept/comfortable than most of us. And, she has a real thing for family and family celebrations. But, she's not the head of the family. So, we'll have to see what kind of cooperation we can get.

Since my grandmother started going downhill during the last 5 or 10 years of her life, the family events petered out to nothing. I miss them.
I had the pleasure of meeting another ECFer over the weekend. Some of you may know chanelvaps from other threads. She stopped by the dog show in Atlanta Saturday. It's always so much fun to meet fellow ECFers, especially ones you have been good friends with for several years.
Very cool! Yup, I've seen her around. I'm so glad for y'all!

I know what you mean... but certain characters, I'm okay with losing... Glenn had been there since season one though. :( Those are the ones that are hardest for me to lose.

Yep, Saw the previews, watched Talking Dead... my Bride and I don't miss a thing on that show! :D I agree though... Daryl is my favorite character, too. Everybody makes fun of the Redneck... until the apocalypse. ;)

I KNEW there was a good reason why I took such a liking to you!:D

and..um...most females don't make fun of him;)

BTW...sweet Glen missed the bullet a few times so I had a feeling that it'd be him...tho it broke my heart! and glad i have Amazon prime...I think I'm gonna rewatch it from the beginning.....again......

Yeah... Norman gets a LOT of attention from the female fans, that's for sure. He's definitely a cool dude. AND he VAPES! ;):D

And you're right. There have been several times that we were pretty sure that Glenn wasn't gonna make it. Apparently he dodged quite a few bullets in the comic, too. And after a l'il background research, he died by Negan's hand (bat?) in the comic as well. Guess they decided to stay true to that part of the story-line.

We've got almost all of the previous seasons on Blu-ray. ;) My darling Bride usually picks them up from Amazon whenever she notices that they are on sale and can get 'em at a good price. Usually around Christmas time.

Good luck at the doctor's office!! Hopefully they'll have better news about why things aren't going the way they should and can find a good solution! :nun::wub:

AMC ,,and the good thing about AMC is the week before each new season of popular shows they run the entire last season back to back in certain time slots,,, i think netflix and couchpotato also catch you up
Yeah I've watched all the seasons on Netflix. I sort of like doing that since I can watch the whole season with no commercials. Don't even know if I have AMC.

You should be able to connect your smart phone to your laptop and download the kindle app and books that way no cell service needed. Worth a try anyways.
my phone is old and wayyyyyy too tiny! Bigger than a flip, but not a lot bigger

oh I'd love a great sour apple. Hey, lets have two experts on this one...... @Kodak hehehe

I'm sure you've all seen the news about the DOD clawing back enlistment bonuses from some of our troops.... In addition to lots of calls to all the legislators, here's something to sign.

Department of Defense: Join IAVA in Telling Uncle Sam to #PayThemBack

(Just got the email this AM, so it's still small. IAVA is a good org.)
that is despicable!!! thanks.

Gotta go now.....neurosurgeon appt. for a second opinion about what's still wrong with my hip/leg......

( hope he doesn't wanna check out my head:(;))

Well got hold of our PCP and she is going to talk to Ginny about the Reclast treatment. It is supposed to be a once a year treatment not a once a week like the PA said which shows you how much a PA knows.
wow that is a huge difference! Glad the PCP is gonna talk with her about it.
