Teenagers sure can talk! My 16 1/2 year old grandson talked to me from six o'clock until after midnight with only about 30 minutes or an hour off during that time. About 6 hours straight of talking. I wish I had the energy to talk that much.

Time for bed.
But surely you're thankful that he even wants to talk to you. Teens are usually too wrapped up in themselves or other teens to "waste" their time with us older folks. :D

I so envy anyone who is lucky enough to have grandkids. I will never have any and that is the bane of my life. :(

Yepper, just loaded and started 'playing' with Kodi on my 'puter. Am thinking 'bout getting da Amazon FireTVStick Gen2 to test da 'water'.

OK, got to get sum rest... catch ya'll later...

I have the Amazon FireTV Box (little bigger than the stick and has more memory; otherwise, it's the same thing). It's great for streaming movies, shows, and music to your TV. I also play a few games on it that I've downloaded. I think that it is pretty handy, because now I don't have to drag the laptop over to hook up to the TV if we wanna cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. :)

HBO. Oh, u meen like with the kodi box? ;)
I'll repeat. Anything that has ever been broadcast (WORLDWIDE) can be found on kodi. Including live tv, movies and sports. Again... worldwide. Yes, netflix, hulu, roku, whatever. ALL of it. In fact, if you have every box and prime and everything else... they only (barely) scratch the surface of kodi. And... itz still all free.
Are there some paid apps? Jup. But never found one that had something the free add ons didn't have.

I know you like to mention KODI and how it's free and chock full of, er, free content .. the thing is, KODI exists in a grey area .. it was originally designed as a open source media center software, used to access YouTube, Netflix, etc and store your paid content on a HTPC (Home Theater PC) and fully legit .. developers have written add ons which allow access to content that KODI was not originally designed to access .. much of it if not most of it in the gray area of legality or even illegal, period ..

It is a disservice to folks to not mention this and at the same time, strongly suggest that a VPN be used in order to gain Privacy Protection and avoid legalities that could come back and bite you in the .... ..

And much of it is pirated. With Kodi you have to be VERY careful with your sources if pirated content bothers you.

@Myrany & @Debadoo

These are the recipes that I unearthed for what claims to be Sour Green Apple Jolly Rancher. I haven't tried any of them, so if you do, let me know! Unfortunately the creator's names weren't included :(

#1
Apple Candy (TPA) 10%
Sour (TPA) 5%
Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA) 5%

#2
Jolly ranchers = fw hard candy 5-8% depending on taste. Then just add whatever fruit you want. 3-4% tfa green apple for example. Lorann tart n sour, or tfa sour might work, get some malic acid, or 1% tfa sea buckthorn for a nice puckering effect.

#3
Green Apple (TPA) 8%
Jolly Rancher (TPA) 6%
MTS vape Wizard (FA) 1%
Sour (TPA) 1%

#4
Apple Sour
PA Apple Green 14%
Ethyl Maltol 6%
Bitter Wizard 2%

#5
TFA Green Apple 19%
FW Jolly Rancher 4%

I'm thinking I'm going to try #3, but I'm going to replace the green apple with Granny Smith Apple (Tart Green Apple) TFA and not use the Sour for now. Hope this helps some!
Thanks much!

Loved Jessica Jones, as well as both seasons of Daredevil. Luke Cage has not drawn me in quite the same way as those did. Binge watched the others, but with Cage I'm content watching one or two episodes per week. It's still good enough to make me want to finish it, just not good enough to make me want to watch the whole season in one weekend.

Time for an update concerning my Bride's cancer treatment and stuff for those that are interested in following along. If not interested, please feel free to bypass the rest of this post. :)

We spent the 15th and 16th in the emergency room because she was having trouble breathing and her oxygen stats had dropped into the 70's, according to our pulse oximeter at home. They ran several tests and determined that she had fluid in the pleural space (the pleura is a sac that encases the lung; the pleural space is the area between the pleura and the lung). The doctor came in on Sunday the 16th and performed a thoracentesis (stuck a needle in her back to drain the fluid). We went home that night and she was feeling much better, but she's been on home oxygen since then.

She began having trouble breathing again this past Monday, so we managed to get in to see the doctor again yesterday. The doctor put in a catheter so that I can drain the fluid off from home. We'll have to do that for about the next six weeks. After that point, she says that the pleura should re-attach to the lung and there is a less than ten percent chance that fluid will accumulate after that. So that was good news, because we were expecting that this was going to be a long term issue. :)

Also, yesterday afternoon, we heard back about the clinical trial medications. Our insurance had denied coverage and denied all appeals. We applied for Merck's Patient Assistance Program. About a week and a half ago Merck denied our request, but said that we may qualify for an exception clause and allowed us to apply for that. We did, and it was approved yesterday! YAAYYYY!!! So now, we're waiting to actually receive the medications, which shouldn't take too long. We have a CT scheduled for tomorrow morning, and will likely have several appointments next week so that the doctors can run tests to establish baselines before beginning the treatment. She will take the treatments for two months, then have the scans and blood work done again to see if it is doing any good. But we're finally On The Path! She has been without any treatment for the past three months or so, and we've both been very anxious to get something started again.

So, that's the long and short of it for now... sorry for not updating y'all in a while, but we've been in limbo for a while and finally have some news to share. At least it is the beginning of some good news. :) Much love to all, and thank you all so much for following along in our journey.

Me being a fan of "Shaft" (right on) probably helped with Cage .. his intro in Jessica Jones was a nice touch as well, which set the stage .. :)

If you've only watched the first couple of episodes you stopped too quickly.....;)

My biggest problem with either of those.....I binge watched and now have to wait for whenever they get around to releasing the next season...;)

Yay!! Both good news, Kazz! You had said it was going to be a couple of weeks before you heard anything. Please keep us posted as you proceed as prayers are ongoing!
