A year ago today, the World lost Prince Rogers Nelson .. one of the Artists that I consider not only within the top 10 of innovators in the last 40 years, but, IMO the best Guitarist since Hendrix .. I listened to him play an acoustic guitar, nothing but him and the guitar, and it was almost like listening to 3 people play ..

In the studio, he pretty much did it all and played it all .. he had a natural grace and humor .. just a 5' 3" Powerhouse .. and a Musicians Musician ..

He was all that, & greatly missed.

I just use green painters tape to label my batts, & juice. I don't have a problem getting them out of the charger. I learned my lesson about that when the charger clip got away from me & peeled a nick in the wrap on a batt. Gotta hang onto that thingied

Jup, that's why I use the tape tabs. I just write on em in sharpie, then wrap with packing tape over where I wrote, leaving enough room to make a lil tab. Of course, that doesn't work as well for regulated mods, but there is plenty of room in my Reos for the tab. When putting into or getting out of the charger, I can grab the tab. The slidey things on my charger don't always slide so well, so it saves me broken nails or jumpin batts by having the tab

Hi all, I am a little over 25 pages behind so I will do a scan of those pages a little while later. I have only been able to keep up on the front porch. Y'all have been extremely chatty recently. Things are going well for me, I have just been busy getting caught up on one of my favorite authors. I didn't realize she had come out with 3 new books. Janet Evonavich and the Stephany Plum series is literally a laugh-out-loud series of books. Nancy got me hooked on her years ago and for me when I get started reading I can't put the book down.
In the last week, I have sent out a total of 9 pens to friends and family. I have one Olive-wood blank left and I am thinking of ordering another batch. I am tossed between the Olive-wood and Zebrawood. To me, they are both beautiful. Oh heck, I think I will order 10 of each. I guess I will have to order 10 more pen kits, too.

I never really smoked the no names. I did smoke Pall Mall which were always cheaper but I quit soon after resorting to them. I was usually able to find one of the top brands, Marlboro, Camel or Winston on sale some where. I would buy all they had in stock when I did. Sometimes paying $250-$300 at a time. Come home and stash them kidding myself that those would last me 6 weeks. About 2-3 weeks later when half of them were gone I would be on the prowl for another sale.
I got lucky I guess you could say living so close to Idaho and the Coure D'Alene Indian Rez. The Indians in New York came out with their own brand that was very close to Marlboros and they were $22 a carton. About an 85mile RT but butts were going for around $80 a carton here in WA then more now so we got by pretty cheap I guess. We'd go out once a month and get 10 cartons. I smoked Lights Gin smoked Ultra Lights. Oh the brand was Native

Jup, but ya don't have that in the charger. The charger is where I have issues.
Me too Deb. My 4 bay charger is a beech getting the middle batts out. My fingernails aren't long enough and you can't get a grip. Now that I think about it bet you could put a strip of fabric from some old piece of clothing cut like a ribbon.

Sounds like their "Exact" brand. Same here. $6 a carton years ago. ($20 for camels locally) then they got smart. Around $20 today. A steal compared to anything else.

Hey Gary I think I've decided I like the power settings better then TC for a while but don't think I'll change away from SS. I remember now why I changed to SS was for the flavor. Seems much smoother and better then Kanthal but it has all the bennys of Kanthal, easy to wrap, can dryburn the coils and all my mods work with it except the PV's. Even Ginnys Istick 40's.
