Why do people have to make my life harder than it is on a Monday? GAH! Just tell me what the issue is so I can find a way to get it fixed!!

Anyhow, enough of the Mondays, let the week roll in! Thank god for Friday! I need a good paycheck to keep my mind busy! Bowling, darts, maybe a new mod or two, or maybe just a few things to hold me over until next pay day? Either way, I'll be content. The best part of the week, will be getting my truck fixed by the .... face that ran the stop sign and hit me... FINALLY! 2 months later...

Well some not so good news. The VA just called me and the spots on my lungs are increasing in size and they are concerned so I'm going to see an oncologist on Thursday. Not what I needed at this point. They said they don't know that it is cancer but the doc on Thursday will discuss more. Like I didn't have enough wrong.
Well don't choose the worst option yet. You did say vaping was making your chest hurt. Wait till you talk to the dr.

Me too Pat. I had a cat scan that showed a 1-2 cm inflammation in one lung. I'm scheduled Thursday for a PET scan. Sure hoping it's nothing serious but if it is the Doc wants to catch it early. Guess both of us would do good with some Porch Prayer.

Oh ... nice ... will have to try to remember to watch for it later in the year.
Prayers here for sure!

@Debadoo - I don't know, I don't grow jalapenos anymore. I settled for bhut jolokia (ghost chili). Those babies are resilient as all hell, and just a small chili will be enough fire to ignite some good food. They are small compared to jalapenos, they survive pretty well in comparison, the only issues you should be aware of is keeping them OUT of direct sunlight. Doing so, causes them to grow too high, too fast. And ABSOLUTELY WEAR GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THEM! You don't know real pain until you're hands are on fire from touching these leviathans of heat. The flavor of them is what sets them apart though. It's a smokey citrus flavor, unique, yes, add that to anything and it's great.

He was driving around on SR-22 insurance, cancelled his insurance 2 days prior to the accident, and before the officer arrived at the scene, decided to take off. So then his insurance company was like "Well, he's technically NOT insured by us... but..." or "We can't get in contact with the insured..."

I'd pull the chili & the blooms, & feed the plants to help them through the shock from transplanting. Pulling the blooms & chili will signal the plants to make more.

see this was my thought process, but what I know about growin stuff you can fit on the head of a pin. :D And I haven't been able to find this answer online. I did find that even though the chili is small, we need to go ahead and harvest the one that's on there. It'll encourage more to grow, and it's already got the striations on it, or "corking" but they said 60-90 days and it's been that. So son is out there now takin pics and cutting off the one chili.

hahaha yur a better man than I am! :D Actually, that's not a bad idea for just flavoring food. A classmate of my son, gave him the two jalapeno plants, and I've been struggling to keep them alive. I have a black thumb when it comes to growing stuff.

If we're still talking about summer colds, chocolate remains at least as effective a treatment as chilies.
chocolate fixes most anything! and if it don't......it makes bein broken a lot more fun!!

ok, @cigatron The one that is sickly has the jalapeno growing on it. The one that looks good did not produce a chili. I did notice that black ring at the joint, and had read about that, that if it had that and wasn't doing good, it meant a couple different bad things

Sickly jalapeno plant.jpg this is definitely the sickly one

Healthy plant.jpg pretty sure this is the healthier one, but not certain. Might just be another area of the bad one, but I think this is the one where you can see the black ring on the stem at the joint

we picked the chili and will try it when my son gets back

One of my GD's who has a different Mexican father then the one we raised must have gotten more of the genes in her. She eats Jalapeno like it's candy. She had ........ for the last few days I almost said eat more peppers, but thought better of it she was in enough agony without me helping. My GD that we raised is also 1/2 Mexican and she eats spicy hot stuff all the time, everything. I bet that changes now that she PG. She's in the right spot, all of her coworkers in El Paso are Mexican and they alway bring homemade stuff to work and she scarfs it down. Hope I make it down there early enough there are some homemade Tamales left. They always make a ton of them sometime in December. One lady sells them all the time that she works with so I should be covered.

Heres the label from my German package. As you can see no state even though he included it but it had a bar code maybe it was on there. DHL he is looking for a better mailing place. If you can see it it had been x-rayed also.

Jup they always make em for Christmas and New Year's. Best NYE I ever spent was a friend who did a traditional mexican spread at her house......tons of good food and some of the best menudo I'd ever had. she didn't make it herself, really wish I knew where she got it. Love good homemade tamales...........used to have several clients I bought them from years ago, but now, Omgggggggg ya gotta mortgage the house to buy a couple three dozen these days! I know it's a ton of work, but wow they have really gotten super expensive.
