ok.........question for the gardeners. We have two jalapeno plants. They had both been planted in a can together. Then I found out they needed more space. One had one jalapeno on it, and it was much smaller. I expect it was using most of its energy to feed the pepper. They both have had blooms, but that is the only one to make a chili.
They are both in the ground now, but the one with the jalapeno on it isn't doing as well as the other. It's a small chili, should we pick it off so the plant isn't trying to nurture it? For the blooms that didn't make a chili, and just kinda wilted, should we pick those off, or will they just wilt up and fall off? Thanks for your advice!
Well some not so good news. The VA just called me and the spots on my lungs are increasing in size and they are concerned so I'm going to see an oncologist on Thursday. Not what I needed at this point. They said they don't know that it is cancer but the doc on Thursday will discuss more. Like I didn't have enough wrong.
Heres the label from my German package. As you can see no state even though he included it but it had a bar code maybe it was on there. DHL he is looking for a better mailing place. If you can see it it had been x-rayed also.

we did last night. It was very small, maybe inch long. And mannnnnn was that sucker hot! Even just the flesh with no seeds or membrane, but it had the best flavor! I'm afraid it was a bad time to transfer it to the ground, but the fact that it's still alive with me taking care of em is a miracle!Yep, I agree with the others - harvest that pepper so the plant can focus on growing. Your plants need some time to adjust. They've had quite a shock. Give them a little shade at first too.
wow.....first......y'all schools are still goin? and 2, they close when the weather is too hot? Reckin that's about right though.......ours close if there's a snowflake within a 20 mile radiusUgh! 93 today with 81% humidity. Guess who's going to stay inside today! The news says it'll feel like 100 today and the Phila schools are all closing at noon with all after school activities cancelled. It's gonna be too hot to open the pool!

I do now, those might be peppers in the making.
The flowers come firstn then then fruit where the flower was after the flower dies. The flower doesn't always fall off. It dies & may dangle there on the bottom of the fruit & eventually fall off. Or not. But it's still dead j not drawing nutrition from the plant. Seeing those little nubs, where the flowers were, looks like the peppers are on their way. Transplanting puts the plant in a bit of shock & slows the production process while the plant recovers from that. Part of what would normally go to making fruit is being used to stay alive after transplanting. Once it gets used to the new ground & starts putting out new roots, more energy goes back to making fruit. That's where you are right now. All in a nutshell. Just leave them alone. Make sure they have good drainage, peppers don't like wet feet. If it rains they've been watered, so leave them alone. If there's no rain for a couple of weeks, give it a drink, but don't drown it.
Hey you.......yur not allowed to fuss at me cuz you didn't answer my question! .....[URL='http://s1303.photobucket.com/user/DebadooB/media/Smi:D

Yesterday was beautiful, 92 and no humidity.....today I'm looking at the same temperature, but the humidity is climbing to 51% or more....Ugh! 93 today with 81% humidity. That's it? Just buy this and download a free app? Thank you!For ALLour porchers dat have or may encounter dat dreaded dashboard 'Check Engine' warning beacon, a lil' personal experience.
After I gifted myself a Samsung smart phone (android G7) fer my Christmas/birthday, decided to track down my dashboard dire dilemma, da cursed CEwb.
First ordered an OBDII and just plugged it in my under-dash port. Den downloaded da free version of Torque Lite to my G7; easy Bluetooth pairing. Thus far I've resolved two issues; replaced a gas cap (weak relief spring) and just today a coolant temperature sensor. Da latter was really kickin' my Tahoe's 'tailpipe, not countin' my fuel con$umption! and just plugged it in my under-dash port
Fer 'bout $50 total (sans phone) and maybe 10 minutes, I'm now cruisin' beacon (note: not bacon) free! Besides, I've also set up my G7/TL to monitor what I consider my engine's critical computer computations. Can't imagine what a dealer$hip would charge...![]()
Dang 840 degrees, have you already made the commute to Mars. LMAOIt's a hot day today! 84o humidity 74% but methinks they're lying. Been outside all morning, and I'm done, and done in!
Didn't read back for catch up, so will do that later.
Pictures or it didn't happen.now I'm going to need to turn on the AC and peel off my clothes...
You ever tried one of those little tiny red peppers, back in my beer drinking day and as someone said I was 2 sheets to the wind, "Oh I can eat one" Ha thought my mouth would never stop burning. I don't even like too spicy but these were crazy. I think they are called something bird peppers from Thailand I think. Drank 2 glasses of milk ice cubes needless to say sobered me right up.And mannnnnn was that sucker hot!
