Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Seven

Well, I'm trying to "ignore" the Cubs game this evening 
A friend came over this evening - she just got a new Target Mini, and "it isn't working". Pretty in Pink and came with the Guardian Tank. She's used to a Spinner/Twist with an eGo tank (and has been quite happy with that for the 4 years she's been vaping!) She saw my Target Mini the other night when we went out for dinner. Thought it was pretty cute.
Mine didn't come with the tank, and I'm not familiar with any of the Vaporesso tanks/coils. I pop that bad boy off and open it up (yes, it still had juice in it - I keep a roll of paper towels at my vape station
) Looking at the coil - it's a 0.5 ohm coil. She had the mod set to 9W. She doesn't do math (I helped her through a math class when she was going for her RN ) Just explained that these coils will want more power than what she's used to. Told her not to use the Guardian on her Spinner, even though it can handle a 510.
Bumped the power to about 22-23W and voila!
I'd told her I'd make her some jooz (used to be a Tribeca junkie, but it's VERY difficult to buy jooz, unless it's from an "authorized" seller in my "beloved" state due to extra Deeming shennanigans that have already been enacted
) She asked how much I'd charge - I'm like, NOTHING. So, I sat down to figure out how much a bottle costs me. I figured nic, PG/VG, flavorings - worked out to just under $0.04/ml. I'm rounding to $0.05/ml for all the sundry supplies
Another friend of hers charges her $6/30ml.
(that's about what I used to pay at my B&M when I caught a sale) Granted, if I was gonna make her a LITER, I might ask her to chip in to replace some flavorings. Other than that, I'm happy to do this - it's fun for me, and I have someone I can talk a little bit of vaping with.

Well the chip hasn't been updated for 2 years and the phone number was a guy that said he has had several calls and he doesn't have a dog. I'll bet someone dumped her. People are so cruel sometimes.

That is so sad but so true. I sure hope your granddaughter can keep her/him or find it a good home. That just sucks. Sometimes I just hate people (other than my special friends, of which I do have a few

Sorry you couldn't sleep. Hope you got a good nap in. I do that all the time on the couch when the kids aren't here. the couch is more comfy than my bed.
It is amazing what they can do. My Aunt had a knee replacement when she was 80 I think. The knee had some kind of GPS with it. If it ever moved outta place, they could tell somehow, and actually move it back where it should be just with a computer or something. Never had a chance to try that out. A couple 3 years later she fell down the basement stairs, and broke 14 bones. She was put into a hospital part of an assisted living type place, and had a stroke a few days after. My uncle got a small apt at the same facility, since she was the one who took care of him. They were there about 2-3 years before she died, and he didn't live but about 6 months after that. He was able to go in a wheel chair to visit her everyday though.
I couldn't handle what the govt does in CA but the weather sure is nice in the southern part of the state. Don't worry about competition. Leave it to God to find you the one who could only love you!!

that's horrible!! Sorry the chip didn't work out. Is she going to keep her, or what? Sure hope she can find a home if not. I'll talk to the kids about her when they get home, maybe tomorrow, but not holding my breath. All of us want another dog, except my son, and he's only concerned about finances with him being in school now, and rightly so. Vet bills do get expensive. Not as much income now, and not a good idea to take on another critter.

I'm not sure what they put in it that could cost that much. Ginny's stuff that she likes is $24 for 130ml and then I cut it half and half with unflavored 50/50 VGPG at 6mg. I just ordered another 130ml but she wanted to go to the next one down so 6mg. Like I told her if it's not enough I can just make the mix at 12mg and it comes out the same 9mg but she's determined to cut the nic some. She's been vaping at 9mg but she vapes quite a bit I fill her Nauti twice a day usually.

Get this our neighbors the wifes mother and father, father got tired of taking care of the mother and dropped her off on their doorstep and sends them $500 a month to take care of her. She's not that bad a few memory problems but hey we all have that she gets around real good for 80. They'd been married almost 45+years and he doesn't even come to visit. Lives in Oregon.
Yeah she won't take her to the pound cause they only give them 3 days the Humane Society is a no Kill but they charge so she is going to check and see if her co workers any want her.
