No eyedeea, Pat. Don't have a roku or netflix or hulu or dvr or stix or anything but a tv. Uh, outside of the (new addition) kodi box, never did. Got a blu ray player that sees virtually no use. Since kodi gets anything everything else gets (understatement of the year)... no real use for the blu ray anymore either.

Well, I find the builds annoying. But datz me. YMMV :)

'Til I get more experience, da 'build' gets me stuff. I don't like da hundreds of add-ons in 'builds'. Do hope to configure a streamlined Kodi to my likings at some point...

Just a quick drive-thru to say to forget any of my early feeble attempts at assisting y'all wid Kodi.

Da quickest way to get set up within Kodi is to use 'builds'! Go to YouTube and search fer 'Kodi builds'. Dere are dozens of builds dere.

Dis streaming thang is amazin'! Currently I'm testing a 'Wookie' build. My Amazon Fire TV Stick is arriving tomorrow. It looks like I'll be savin' at least $95 a month 'til I elim cable altogether (bride dependent, of course).

Oh BTW, and I did get da NordVPN program ($4/mo fer da first year) fer dose PPV moments...

Unless it's a Windows vs Mac thing ... I did a very simple install like any other app on my Mac.

My newest add on is called MetalliQ ... let's you search all your add ons for a title, then select where to play it from. It's from a site called toptutorials dot co dot uk

They are cute! I'm just not sure I could live with little "punter" sized dogs. My wife had a bichon when I met her, he was full of attitude and personality for sure, when we got married, we adopted a blue tic/ boarder collie mix. She instantly became "my" dog! I still compare all my dogs to her, I know they all have their own personalities and it's not fair to do that but I still miss that dog!! The dog I have now is right up there though!!!

They look like papillons'

Little cuties! And they do kinda look like Papillons in the picture!

We hear that a lot. Most folks haven't seen a long coated Chi and assume they're Papillons. One (JT, with flopped over ears) doesn't have an apple head, so is more easily mistaken. But believe me, they're each 6+ lbs of pure chihuahua!

I hear you. My dog was Wiggins, a Portie. Got him in 1998, and lost him to cancer in 2011. There will never be another Wiggins. The Chi's personality is pretty funny and very loving, though.

We lost Koko to cancer as well, she was only 7yo. I wasn't quite ready for another dog right away but my wife had some rescues come into her vet clinic and had first pick of the 4 that came in. She chose the runt, Cheynne, 2 others were quickly adopted but the alpha of the group couldn't find a home. We ended up adopting him as well. Again, all I did was compare him to my beloved Koko. Shawnee became my shadow. He was relentless for my attention and I couldn't help but love that dog to death!!!

As a side note, two dogs from the same litter are very difficult to train, they spend more time paying attention to one another than listen to commands!! It took a great deal longer to get them trained but worth it in the end!!

Gary do you have that link that I think Ken put up but you know how I am with remembering who puts thing up. It was for a Kodi player that already had some builds on it or add ons whatever they are called and I think it was like $54 including the keyboard and the wires the works. I was going to go back and try to find it but that is exasperating.

Does Kodi deliver a strong sports lineup? I'm particularly wondering about WatchESPN with the accompanying SEC Network and Fox SportSouth for Braves games.
All kinds of sports. I'm not into sports myself so can't say how reliable tho. There is a ton of live as well as recorded stuff.

I've found that EXODUS pretty much does all I need it to do and the search capability is top notch .. I watched X-Men / Apocalypse last night .. the one thing that is noticeable and really unavoidable, is many streams are highly compressed data, so I've yet to see anything that would match Netflix HD, nothing that is close to BluRay, in many cases, you can see the compression by looking at color gradation and how it's not smoothly blended .. as well, audio is limited in many cases to stereo only .. no way to filter either of these thru search in order to isolate better quality picture / sound .. not that I'm complaining, mind you, it's just a nit pick ..

Myself, I think EXODUS is the best comprehensive add on .. if using just one, this would be it ..
