This lil box works for me but you can spend 2 or $300 on em. No clue what the hi ends do.

I'm just not real hip on the stand alone boxes .. Amazon had one on yesterday for about $25.00 I think .. shipped from China .. streaming is really not an intensive computer task, I am using an i3 with HDMI out I snagged on a Dell.com refurb clearance for about $90.00 delivered .. works flawlessly, came with keyboard and mouse .. I don't use it for anything else, so no risk of hacker compromise .. CAT5 / 6 .. I try and avoid wireless ..

I've found that EXODUS pretty much does all I need it to do and the search capability is top notch .. I watched X-Men / Apocalypse last night .. the one thing that is noticeable and really unavoidable, is many streams are highly compressed data, so I've yet to see anything that would match Netflix HD, nothing that is close to BluRay, in many cases, you can see the compression by looking at color gradation and how it's not smoothly blended .. as well, audio is limited in many cases to stereo only .. no way to filter either of these thru search in order to isolate better quality picture / sound .. not that I'm complaining, mind you, it's just a nit pick ..

Myself, I think EXODUS is the best comprehensive add on .. if using just one, this would be it ..

Jup. Exodus iz a good one. Just not the only "good" one. there are a few that only do 1080. Now thatz a pic! Or give you a choice of what rez you prefer. I don't usually look for the best. Just look for the show. You can go nutz just looking for hi quality.

Only use wireless for laptops here. The real machines are hardwired cat6. But the stand alones are the bee'z kneez for plug n play to yer tv.

Dunno everything about them. But the one I linked to are the one's I have. Along with the keyboards.
That one sez international which means (fine print) no warranty. And I hope you like typing on yer phone cuz that board is tiny! My boards are full size.

Does Kodi deliver a strong sports lineup? I'm particularly wondering about WatchESPN with the accompanying SEC Network and Fox SportSouth for Braves games.

I get a 1080 stream .. it's just really compressed in many cases .. on the flip side, I was watching "Atlanta" the series the other day, and it was close to BluRay .. YMMV ..

That's the one I have but a different brand. And again... hope yer used to typin on a phone with the mini KB. The KB I linked to is full size and... cheaper. (by a few cents.)

Pretty sure they all do. Mine had a bunch of em. But not exodus. Had to add that one.

Seems to me to have everything needed to just plug and play, I can do the phone keyboard ok. Done a lot of sexting. Me and A Weiner.

That keyboard would drive me insane(r) tho. But I guess yer used to a laptop and the "scrape it" mouse. Take me about 3 seconds for me to introduce it to my wall.
