Well we've warmed up to 26 and snowing again.

Sheesh had another bout with my blood sugar this am don't understand it. Felt really weird and shaky took the measurement and it was 57. Couldn't get juice and hard cancy in me fast enough. Can't figure it out I'd had 2 cups of coffee with sugar in them but I was really tired when I got up and slept for 3 hours in my chair.

Finally found a recipe for Buttery Hazelnut which is the only thing Ginny likes she is down to 3mg of nic. All the flavors are Flavor West and they have them all at ecig express so I will try it takes 5 flavors.

Big man thought he could handle a sharp kitchen knife without his cut-proof gloves on. Nope. Got a minor cut when rinsing the knife off after I was done cutting.

Current temperature outside is 10 degrees and it's supposed to be colder tomorrow. I know this is wimpy stuff compared to what some of you have been experiencing, but it might make Floridians shiver.

OK, the Christmas boxes have finally made it to the attic so Christmas is really, really over for us. Mike got the lights down the other day when it wasn't too cold. Now I drive through our area and feel sorry for all those people who have yet to take theirs down. At the rate we're going it's not going to warm up here until Easter.
Lol, my sympathies to all our northern cousins. Christmas in Australia is hot. Cold and Windy is what it's not. Pack your bags and come to the land down under. Went to mow the lawn yesterday, Just about got sunstroke and sun burn. Took about 4 pint's of beer to recover as well as a cold shower.

Yes, I too packed away all the Chrisy decorations and not having an attic moved all of them into the garden shed. Then it was a big clean up of the two spare bedrooms....well um yeah, managed to get one done before the wife gets home. The other well perhaps tomorrow if I still have the energy. Heck, I thought I would be a gentleman of leisure when I retired....Chances.....the ball and chain always finds me more chores.

Gave up on manual knife sharpening went out an purchased an electric knife sharpener the plug in type does knives and scissors, problem solved. Now the wife complains the knives are to sharp for her. Oh well such is life, her turn for the plaster. LOL.

That fatigue may be a sign your sugar is low. Try checking it when you start feeling like that. That's just scary!

What's the recipe for that juice?

Be careful, Bells! And stop washing the sharp sides of the blades!
Does the cold effect the drones? As in limiting power in any way? Do the blades ice up?

When she runs out of things for you to do could you come to Houston, TX? I have a small list.

It was the back corner of the blade below the handle that got me. The blade is sharp as heck the minute it turns the corner. My cut-proof gloves would have kept me from getting cut... or at least I'm pretty sure they would have.

Hey @clnire, that was very funny, that joke that you don't remember.

The drone battery is very smart and limits power when it's really cold... won't even operate if the battery itself is colder than about 50 degrees F, but it didn't have time to get that cold in between when I carried it outside and when I started it up. I imagine it would be possible for the blades to get a coating of ice, but it would have to be both wet and cold outside. Wet is not good for most remote control quad copters.

Too slippery for a dance, but it occurred to me afterwards that there's a snow-free spot under my car. I'm too tall to fit under there though.

Which ones did you get?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk

One NarDA, which comes with a vented screw in the spare parts bag.

Two more Hobos - one SS, one black - which I already knew would fit the Fat Daddy Vapes vented 3mm screws I already had.

Derringer v3, which I hoped would fit one of the FDV vented screws - it did!

I already had one Hobo to which I'd added a FDV vented screw... and why I got two more instead of just one, I'll never know. I like it just fine, but don't need 3 of 'em. If I had a 'do over' I'd get just one more Hobo and two NarDAs.

So far, I really like the design details of the NarDA. It's a simple two-piece design, easy to coil, designed as a single coil-only device, more than adequate air flow, and is one of the most leak-resistant RDAs I have*. It has a deep well, up-high air holes, and two o-rings securing the top to the base. Right now, I have a 26 ga., 5 wrap, 2.75mm ID coil in it which measures right in the middle of my 'sweet spot' - 0.8Ω

*When I say 'leak-resistant', I really mean "resistant to me inadvertently pouring juice out of the air holes" due to my mishandling of it. I've used tanks for so long, can't seem to get used to holding an RDA-style upright all the time.

One note on the NarDA - The vented screw that came with this one has neither a screwdriver slot nor Allen wrench 'flats' inside the head... so I had to tighten it up with pliers, which scarred it a bit. BTW, try to avoid BF attys with a slotted positive pin - they don't make a good seal. I have a BF Velocity like that, and juice squeezes out from between the mod and the atty.

Yea, I seem to recall it was. I kind of remember, but not enough to tell it (which is still not appropriate here). Something about a diseased "part".....;)

7 degrees here at 6 am, up one degree in the last couple of hours. Could be worse... I sympathize with the letter carriers. My water is still running, which is the only time I can remember that it didn't freeze up when the temp was below 12 degrees... with snow and ice on the ground no less! But there's no wind, which helps. Reason the water is still running: I've got a pencil-thick stream running into a bathtub... a big pencil... hope my pencil is big enough.

I hope you get the low sugar figured out, Patrick! On a different subject: man, that is one freaky-lookin' avatar you've got. I'd like to see it enlarged, but then again, I wouldn't.

Lol. It actually looks better bigger, Retired. My mind was filling the spaces I couldn't quite see with freakier imagery. How is there room in your mouth for that tongue, Patrick?

an example of rewarding bad mgmt
XOM net income has fallen from $32 billion to $16 billion, its L/T debt has risen from $11 billion to $25 billion.

why this is important is because this is a DOW stock,, the old 'trust me grandfather' of the stock market,, looks more like creepy pete. sad thing is XOM isnt the only molester,, there are quite a few and growing. CEO's paying themselves well,, laying off people for profit and raping the shareholder on delivery of real earnings.

a decade of hyper inflation coming to an end will pop this bubble soon.

stock was $71+/- jan last year, now its 88 and now we have the CEO as SS in our govt. (Trump's staff)

Like I said. If you can do better at a fraction of the salary paid, I'm sure the board will be more than happy to hear from you.
I would never associate myself with fraud. I remember that kind of thinking a few years back in company called BSC,, Enron,, investors deserved to lose all of their money for 'head in the sand' investing.

Does that Hobo pry apart, or is it threaded?
