Well I lived through that. It was a walk in the park. How bout you @MattB101 how'd your halter work. Did it show any irregularities. I gotta do this again next week same time same station. Really nice people there. Lotsa Chemo patients. Mine was nothing compared to some of theirs. The guy next to me slept the whole time i was in that oversized Lazy Boy. He had 4 bags of stuff going into him and the guy on the other side showed Ginny how his port works. She was wondering cause her sister had to have one. Mine only took 2 hours poor guy next to me was putting in a 6 hour shift but slept the whole time I was there, fairly young too maybe 35. No problems whatsoever maybe I'll see an end to anemia. Glad my VA Hemotologist retired now people here were much nicer. She said they had 29 people today in for various procedures from Reclast to Chemo. Ginny is going to get her Reclast infusion there she had the iron about a year ago and might need that again.
 So good to read!

Glad it went so well, Legs! I have a Rituxan infusion on Thursday. 5 hours. Ugh! But STEROID ALERT!

Need to catch up. Just wanted to stop in and say all is well. Cardiologist appointment this morning. I'm wearing the Halter dodad that is a 24 hour EKG. Will update more in morning. :)
Hope it all goes well hun!

At any rate I'm going in for an iron infusion today at 115pm. They do things a little differently and give you a little and see if any reactions then more and so on. Ginny had it done about a year ago and I have been living with anemia for a long time and the VA sent me to an outside Oncologist/Hemotologist which uses a better form of iron that has very few reactions. At any rate thats where I'll be all afternoon. I'm hoping for the best got one today and one in a week. Maybe I won't look like a ghost.
oh glad to see it went well for ya! Hope this really kicks the anemia in the tushy!

Lol! Just wanted to be sure this was the place for chatter.
welcome Chels!

I don't have it in me to catch up on the 20 pages I missed, but read the last couple. Hope everyone is doing great.

@Kenna......really hope the infusion goes better than it ever has hun. Glad you'll have puppy therapy afterwards.

Heart-meltingly good

Saw part of that on Good Morning America this morning. It's great!

wait...there is a front and back porch? I am confused o_O

Yes, 2 porches. Front Porch in the general forum where we try to keep things vape related (note - try), and the Back Porch in the Lounge where anything goes (except politics and religion).

Sounds perfect.
Good morning!

Jup and several iterations of both! This is the 7th BP and we're on the 5th front porch. It used to be a rule that we had to start a new one when they reached 15,000 posts.

I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus.
Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one.
It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1955.
Symptoms:
1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.
Done that!
2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail!
That too!
3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.
Yep!
4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.
Aha!
5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
Well well!
6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.
Oh, no not again!
7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."
And I just hate that!
8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."
Oh No!
IT'S CALLED
THE "C-NILE VIRUS."
Have I already sent this to you?
Or did you send it to me?
