Man I got so depressed last night I was taking it out on the dog the wife everything I touched. I just wanted to die, I even prayed for it in my sleep. I have been stuffing myself all day taking all this protein everything I can think of and nothing just stay the same the more I eat the more I crap is all that happens. I thought I was gaining a little but all I'm doing is holding. Started me thinking there is something else wrong with me but I don't know what. Ginny had the same operation and eats one meal a day and still gains weight. I'm just about to the end of my rope.

Pat ... just want to express how proud of you I am and how much of an inspiration you are. You're going through hell and kicking its .... with your outlook and determination. We're all here for you and rooting for you. Let your frustrations and stress out on us as/if/when you need to ... you know we're all willing to listen. Best wishes buddy to get past your feeling of yesterday and start feeling better about tomorrow.

137 is not a bad weight. What matters is how you feel.

I'd feel better I'm sure if I got the pain stuff out of me but not sure how the pain would be. Right now I don't feel like doing anything just sit and watch TV. That 137 is with nearly 15lbs of prosthetics. I was doing great and started going downhill after heart surgery and never got back to where I was. I was at about 165 with my prosthetics pre surgery, I was working at a desk job and felt good but it just kept gradually going down after. I was wearing 38 shorts then and now I am down to 34 but they hardly stay up Ginny has thought of getting me some 32's. I'm 5'9" with a medium large frame. I am within BMI limits. So I don't know. Maybe getting off the stuff will help. I keep thinking something will but nothing does. I had hoped getting rid of Hep C would but it didn't.

The imagery is enough of a roadblock that you wouldn't try it, eh? It is real coffee, and they do clean the crap off of it, but something tells me you know that already.

Give your body so time to recoup, Pat it hasn't been long. And keep drinking that stuff.

If you are within limits for BMI, you should be ok, so long as you get your extra nutrition.

I'm getting plety of that but it sucks when your wife is stronger then you, she can beat me especially if she takes my legs away.
