I didn't get free shipping ... the least costly option at checkout was standard 1st class mail for about 5 bucks. Perhaps I missed the option for it when checking out.

It was a little sneaky, you had to scan down the list of options and free shipping was the last one.
I almost missed it too.

I don't use the Zeniths on Vari's due to the size (maybe I wasn't clear earlier). I use Ego One's on the Provari and am waiting for a couple Zlides which should work well on them.

Zlides arrived and I must say I like them, possibly more than the Zeniths. They look good on the Provari but the .5 coil is too low ohm and doesn't work on them so I need to dig out the 1.6 ones.

New toy from the slow boat delivery vendor. And SXK nKFL (KLF2019) with all the bits and pieces to customize it. I tried them all out, bell cap, clear extended tank, top fill tank and decided I liked the long mode clear tank best. This tank is tiny, tiny as delivered w/ the 2ml tank.

Washed and coiled/wicked while on the phone w/ my insurance company (Hummana) for 2 hrs and still the issue isn't resolved 4 times I was disconnected just as we where getting to the nitty-gritty of the problem.

But I digress, pictures of the new toy on a JAC vapor mod. (and not 1 but 2 little blue screw drivers included)

And for size comparison, next to my daily driver a Provape Radius w/ a KFL V5 topping it.

First impressions ... it vapes good, nice flavor. It's an MTL tank. It does seem to be a warmer vape than the original KFL and all my other tanks ... likey because it's so small the heat from the coil reaches your mouth along w/ the vapor more than a bigger tank. I've actually dialed down from my normal 10 watt setting to 8 watts and the vapor production doesn't seem to be effected (that I notice) and some of the 'extra warmth' is gone. Turning me into a real tootle-puffer.

I like that it has airflow control and NO juice control to turn off/on when re-filling. Too many times I've forgotten to open the juice flow on some of my tanks and ruin a perfectly good wick with a dry hit.

We probably should take dis over to da FP... but while we're here...

    Received my Zs today. First impressions (in comparison 'gainst my Kabuki toppers mitt Nautilus coils) ;

Da extra width (.5mm/circ.) is not a fashion killer fer moi; although it would not fit on my Pico (batt cap in da way).
Had to drop wattage from 18W to 13.5 wid 1.5 AF holes. Otherwise too warm.
    Minimal flav improvement.

At dis point, da only unknown fer moi is da coil life span.

Fer moi, not a game changer over my Kabukis. Will say dat dey will be great back-ups if needed.

Note: Tested on an eLeaf TC40W and Pico.

The FP? Hasn't been a post there in a long time. It's so infrequently used now-a-days, I expect the admin's to close it down,

I'm expecting ours to be delivered today.

And ... Janet is really liking the new nKFL. I'm still on the fence about the vape being a bit too warm for my taste. But I really like the size as a topper on my JAC. I may just have to get used to it.

Please keep our friend Patrick in your prayers. His daughter posted this on Facebook.

"Sorry I haven't updated in a long time...We do now have my Dad on hospice and so far everyone has been great... This morning the nurse came and said she believes he is starting the process of passing, it may be quick or it could be a couple weeks, only God knows when it will happen. For right now he is still having moments of being awake and alert but they are becoming less and less. I pray for him that this process of leaving his body is peaceful. I know we will all miss him greatly but he will be with his soulmate ( My beautiful stepmom) who passed May 19th.. this is the longest they have ever been apart in over 35yrs and it gives me peace to know she will be waiting for him with open arms"

I, too, have been kind of expecting this. He has been on the decline for awhile now. I wish him and his family the best. He will be so truly missed, another legend of the porches to be cherished in our hearts forever. It gives me comfort to think he will be with his beloved Ginny again. Oh the stories, the mods and toppers, everything. Can't say more, tears are coming and he's not even gone yet...

As always, thanks with love, Mike!

And yes, not surprised here either. Must say that he never called to gripe; just discussions and/or inquiries. His pain of loss was short-circuited with his sudden and urgent need for self-well being.

Knowing him as I do, don't be surprised if he 'shows up' just to let us know he's still Pat. He is a very remarkable individual. I remember someone here once mentioning that he couldn't understand how Pat got into his predicament with so many medical issues. Regardless, Patrick handled it all well AND with a sense of humor, as evidenced by his porch moniker.

Still hoping and praying that whatever happens whenever, it's blissfully peaceful!

@2legsshrt {{{{Patrick}}}} I wish you were here so I could tell you about the new Zenith toppers we just got. Easy fill top, pop-in coils, exactly what you were looking for recently. Life has been pretty rough on you these past months and I sure wish that wasn't so. I think of you every time I see a train and just know there's lots more stories you have to tell about them and your family and your pup. You always had such a great attitude - who else could lose both legs and choose 2legsshrt for a screen name? I love you Patrick.

Mike, thank you for the update, I've been wondering for a couple of days. His last message was just strangely off, even compared to some of the others. That's a wonderful picture, love the t-shirt.

Agree with the others, it wasn't that unexpected. It's a gut punch, no question. I'm really at a loss for words and tears are threatening. If he does pass on, I hope it's quick and with no more pain or suffering. He's been through far more than most people should to go through.

    Legs :nun:

Love and comfort to the family. Complete loss of words right now.

Saddened here, too. He has been a dominant resident of the porches for so long it has been tough getting used to his abrupt coming and going through the past months. No surprise, given the stresses of his struggle to take care of Ginny, but we also have the pain of letting go. It has been a miracle that he has lived so long, given his medical history.

Prayers for him and his family.

I don't know Pat that well, but we shared a few PMs, as we both had Stage 1 lung cancer a few years back. He was a sweetheart to talk to. And, although he is still with you, it sounds like his journey has begun. I wish him a very soft landing next to his beloved Ginny. And sincere good thoughts for all of you who know him and love him so much......

Oh boy...we all knew this was coming...but still it's heart breaking. I'm sad because we will miss his posts...he's one of a kind.....but we also know all the hell he and his beloved wife were going thru for years, so I'm glad that he will soon be with his beloved wife forever. He was such a strong man that I think he held on to life only because of his wife and now, finally, he can be at peace and with her again in heaven.
