Well I get my old computer back today. They found a Trojan virus on there and got rid of that for me too. They ran abunch of scans and charged me a total of $150 cheaper then a new computer especially a 17.3" My new battery will be here today too from Amazon. So $200 for 5 years of use this one is pretty slow in a lot of places compared to mine. Even though it's old it has an I5 processor.
Hey I got a note back from PB and he said if your aren't going to use your flavoring for a while refrigerate and of course freeze your nic.
I don't have an android myself, but... Would this work?Yeah, I've been doing a bunch of research on this and am coming up a bit short. Apparently most of the "One Click Root" type of programs work on 5.0 or lower and mine is 5.1.1
But I have no problems sharing the specifics...
The phone is: Kyocera Hydro Air (Model: C6745)
SIM is unlocked. (AT&T phone running with a T-Mobile SIM)
OS: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
No worries... I'm digging everywhere I can think to dig, and I know that there are many people in here that are much smarter than I am.

I did a Google search on
how to root Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Kyocera Hydro Air
So you could try that, and if worst comes to worst, try some rooting hormone (found at most plant supply stores and nurseries)
If you have before mentioned USB to phone cable, the phone should show up on Windows Explorer .. I would go thru that first before attempting any download or on-line program ..
In addition, I would suggest doing a phone backup to PC prior to "rooting" around with anything ..

Thank you all for the help, links, and suggestions! I'm still trying to figure this out, but apparently it may be a lost cause. From what I'm finding on xda developers forums and androidforums, everyone else is having trouble figuring out how to unlock the bootloader as well. And only a few seem to have managed even rooting the phone. I'll keep digging and tinkering... I don't like to give up when I know that something is possible.
I'm not worried about the warranty, but I'm having trouble finding one that will root Lollipop 5.1.1. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to do a more "in-depth" work around and get into the command prompt to do it myself.

All the bloatware on this thing is draining the battery even though I've got every option in "Eco Mode" turning off the power draining apps.
I've gone through everything that I can access by that method and have backed up everything that I can, so far. I'm more worried about "bricking" the phone than I am about losing data. And honestly, I'm not overly concerned about "bricking" it.

I am running on a 5 year old i7 desktop. The age of a machine really does not matter as much as it used to. It is the quality of the build to start with that matters.

No, what I'm trying to do is the equivalent of turning a regular car into a race car. Voids the warranty, and the dealership doesn't want anything to do with it.
