Guess what I got that has nothing to do with
vaping?
Very pretty!!

And now you can see better, too!
LMBO!!
Where I live in Florida, the dogs supply the beach. Especially when Geordi goes out to the dog yard, plays in his kiddie pool, digs a hole in the sand, rolls in the sand, then comes into the house. I have to put him on a sit stay so I can sweep the sand off the floors cuz he likes to attack the broom (of course I am guilty of egging him on when a cute little puppy - big dog, sit, stay! At least he does sit and stay!). Sometimes it is a definite pile of sand!
SEE?!!? If ya just put sand about 4" deep all
through the house, then it wouldn't be a problem!
Of course I haven't caught up yet. I'm about 130 messages behind and it'll probably be a lot more before I get caught up.
I got the front air conditioner in the motorhome fixed today. Turned out it was a lot easier than it could have been. The problem was the fan motor was frozen. I had opened it up to troubleshoot about a year ago and it was frozen solid. I squirted a little fluid film on the bearing area before i closed it up and proceeded to ignore it for a year. Got up on the roof this morning (before it got waaayyyy too hot) and opened it up. Damn if the fan didn't turn freely. Fluid Film is a wonderful lubricant. Went down and flipped a few switches so the front a/c was powered up instead of the back one. Flipped the on/off switch and it started right up. Man it's nice to have one of the major jobs off my "to do" list. If it cools off just a little I'll get to troubleshooting the generator. I am pretty sure it's the control board but, am not even close to sure. One thing I am not is a "parts changer." Especially not when the control board is $350.

Anybody knows anyone that wants a nice motorhome, I got one for sale, $13,000. NADA says somewhere between $15,000 and $17,500.

Ok, see you all in a while. Kaz, keeping you in my prayers. 2legs, enjoy your trip and don't let the ahole get you down. Love you all.
Happy to hear that you're making progress, Matt!

Hopefully the generator will turn out to be a quick and easy (and inexpensive!) fix as well. Fingers crossed, Brother. And thank you for keeping us in mind when you have your conversations with the Lord. Very much appreciated!

you too, Brother.
Hey Y'all. WAY behind, as usual. Nothing good or interesting to say........Just hello.
"Nothing good or interesting to say"? Just saying hi and letting us know that you're doing well is DEFINITELY a GOOD thing to say, Hon!

Very happy to hear that you're able to take all of your time off, and hoping that this hitch goes smoothly for you.
Well I have finally landed on the back porch! I have been on ECF as a stalker (mostly) since 2012, I recently retired and now have some time on my hands for more than just stalking, although stalking is time consuming. So HOWDY Y'ALL!
Welcome to da Porches, Jack! Now that you're retired, I'm pretty sure that many here will find a way to help you dip deep into that retirement savings.
ok, I forgot already, what was it that I said sounded good?? hehehe Yanno it stinks....... 4 hrs just aint that far at all......til ya don't have a car. Would be so wonderful if some of us Tx folks could get together, even for a weekend.
They won't get me fixed up, there's nothing they can do to fix......just manage. They're going to try some steroid shots in the spaces behind/between the vertebrae this time and see if that helps some. I'll give it a shot. They did put me back on Vicodin and changed the muscle relaxer, so we'll see what that helps at all.
Strongbow Honey Apple Cider... definitely pour it into a glass, over ice (instead of just drinking it out of the bottle). And, we'll figure out a way to get together at some point. Right now, I pretty much stick to home, work, and the doctor's office. At some point, I'm hoping that I'll be able to find time to get out a bit and meet some people... whenever that happens, I'll definitely find my way over to see ya!
Well, that's better than just layin' around in pain. I can't ever seem to find a good muscle relaxer that works. Whenever my back acts up, they usually just give me a prescription for Vicodin, and then give me a 'coctail' shot at the office. Muscle relaxer, pain killer, anti-inflammatory all rolled into one. About
three days later, I am usually back to normal. Hopefully the muscle relaxer they gave you this time works better and you can be more comfortable.
Works for me!! No more sweepin.......just rake it once in awhile!
Exactly!!!

Oh! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Must feel great to finally be a quarter century old, huh?
