My goodness! Those are beautiful pics! The Perseid Meteor Shower is going on this month. It shows the most meteors in the morning right before dawn. I so wish I could find a spot away from the light pollution & safe enough. I'd take a thermous of coffee & some kolaches & watch.

hehehe glad you enjoyed it. That's one of my favorites, but most all of his stuff is funny. You should also look up John Pinette! He's hilarious. Broke my heart when he died a few years back. He'd lost a ton of weight, gotten in much better shape, his health was much better, then had a pulmonary embolism I think it was.

ohhhhh myyyyy those are just stunning. Saved the whole page for when I finally get my printer working. Still need to try what Uman said. Since it's a large format I thought some of those would be gorgeous printed out on good photo paper! But I think I should do like DH said and save each one in case the page disappears. Thanks DH!!
I've always missed the showers and have always wanted to see them!! Just heard about those last night. Thinking I may have to steal my son's car one night (after I ask him) and go find a spot. Is there a particular time this month they're supposed to be peaking?
My mother had that look. My then husband said I did too. So, I had him always tell me when I had it. I think I trained myself out of it. Well, mostly.

I never have gone to sleep well. What I do best is stay awake until I collapse. Which happens a lot sooner nowadays.
About the same, except it's the past 60 years. But, retirement has its advantages. I'm never "trying" to sleep. I'm either asleep, or I'm awake. It doesn't matter a whole lot which one it is. Deadlines? Maybe one every 4 months, which is manageable. Doctor's appointment or airline flight.You're not alone.....me too...
I'm still not sure I've got the shutter set to fully automatic. New quad, new system to learn. Same simple flight pattern as in yesterday's video. Semi-uncoordinated body movements included. Flying just after dawn at 7:03 am.

Oh Lord, I hope this isn't catchy! Normally, I go to sleep between 10 -11 each night and am up at 6-7.
For the past two nights, up at 3:30 can't get back to sleep and then nap during the day only to repeat the same thing all over again.
