Okay, this is a little out there and WAY O.T. but if anyone is a gamer at all, this one's awesome, in my opinion.
Before I post the link I do need to say that if you have an aversion to middle East war, PTSD or other issues with soldier/enemy situations, this game is not for you. It's called Sniper Team and you are 4 different snipers in 4 different locations, trying to defend a mobile missile in the center of a city. It's not particularly graphic but does involve shooting enemy troops, so........ It also takes a while to load, at least on my system/server but well worth the wait if it IS your cup of tea. ;) Okay, here's the link.............
Sniper Team

Howdy Kazz! Oh man! Don't remind me!!! The trees are already starting to go yellow & orange. Not that that's not pretty but it seems like we only had one really nice week of weather all "Summer" and Fall is already rushing up on us!!! The garden has been devastated. The Red Leaf Lettuce got completely wiped out, the Walla-Walla Onions might be big enough for use in martinis, the peas didn't even fill two zip lock baggies and the Brussels Sprouts are "trying" but I don't think they're gonna do much either. The Romaine morphed into some kind of "individual leaf" plant, although they do look delicious and will probably yield at least a few salads. The second run of radishes are only so-so as far as the leaves go, hopefully the Radishes themselves got bigger than that last pathetic batch! Oh well. It was worth a try and it was enjoyable tending to it as long as we did. We'll have a good bed to transplant the wild Strawberries and Raspberries in, if nothing else. ;) :thumb: We may go the green house route next Summer. ;)

Yeah, I know that you had said the garden got hammered by all the rain. And I should probably apologize... I actually laughed at your description of the Romaine... I know that part of the fun in gardening is the actual "gardening" part, but it would frustrate me to no end for all that work to end up getting wiped out like that. The green house doesn't sound like a bad idea, though. At least the crops would be protected from the rain and critters!

6 Shocking Reasons To Never Give Your Child Chocolate Milk
That site is anti-cow's-milk in any form: whole, low-fat and non-fat all included. I largely agree with what they say about milk, but they're over the top. I'd be willing to bet that they are anti-bacon as well.

Around 11:00 to midnight you shouls start seeing them.
Thanks Kenna it's actually supposed to be clear here tonight. We leave tomorrow over the mountains to our friends place for another week. Supposed to be hot there. Ginnys reunion is Saturday supposed to be 95 there. It's 72 here with a nice cool breeze today. 32nd anniversary today, and they said it wouldn't last.

It will be visible for several weeks. Average is 80 an hour, I think it is. Tonight is the peak with 150. It will start to slow after this. So just pick a night & watch. I've seen it, although it was about 43 years ago. It's a beautiful sight!
Happy Anniversary!

Two days ago my pet corn spider had a mate in her web. Yesterday she ate him. He paid a high price for his roll in the silk sheets.
SEE? This is why "safe words" are SO important!

Thanks all much appreciated. As soon as Ginny gets back to the RV I will show her all of these she'll get a bang out of it. She already knows I tell you guys everything. She's canning beans right now. We've got about 30 quarts to take home with us. The garden here is amazing, we've got fresh beet, carrots and the old stand by zucchini. She makes the best Zucchini Pancakes eggs, onion, flour, baking soda and parmesan cheese and oh yeah zucchini. And they warm up great in the micro. Those things grow so fast you have to get inventive. Same with the beans I think they've picked about 5 times since we've been here.
