Actually only been the last few weeks the problem started. Real time tracking doesn't exist anymore. Just shipped and on it's way.

Yoo cannot be serious!!!!

I just got an order of Temco wire, & a small box of rayon from Amazon, & I got tracking #'s. There have been a couple of times I've had split orders that part had tracking & part didn't. I think it's usually "add on" stuff that ships from odd stores that don't provide tracking.

Wow, you guys have been busy since I was last here. I can't keep up with more than one or two threads at a time, don't know how you do it.

I just keep up wid da porches! Every once in a while, someone here will post a link that I'll check out due to curiosity. Otherwise, since my derriere fits my chair and my tush fills da cush, I stay 'rooted' on da porches...

I mean the amazon fulfillment tracking doesn't exist. just a green bar that says it left and when it arrives. If it ever does. The tracking number they use is theirs alone and I think it's just an algorithm that is based on time.

My rayon was fulfilled by Amazon, it had a usps tracking #.

Fulfilled by amazon or third party. Third party "should" have normal tracking. I meant "amazon logistics" shipping. Has a tracking number but it's their own and you can't use it to track anything. The only one who knows who the carrier is is amazon. And there's dozens of carriers listed on their site. You can only find them by pulling teeth.

Great..... my dream is going to be a musical where a spider eats a T-rex. Looks like I'll be grabbing a bottle of No-Doze on my way home from work!:lol::lol:

Ok, I get it now! And, in thinking about it, I do recall a couple of times that I got that same thing. I had to wait for the notification message from Amazon. Hated that!

@Kaezziel, I'm so sorry to hear your news. My heart hurts for you and your beloved. All my love...
((((((((Birdy))))))))) good to see you hun!! How are you doing??

is

@Kaezziel and wife. We will be with you throughout the journey.
that's lovely 3mg!

We talked a lot this weekend about possible treatment options. It seems that she isn't going to accept any Phase I or Phase II trials. There are a few other options that she is considering; one being a clinic in CA that does immunotherapy. We don't have all of the details yet, but that seems to be the direction that she is leaning. She is VERY tired of being poked and prodded and pumped full of chemicals, and she just doesn't wish to be used as a lab-rat for a Phase I trial. I definitely can't say that I blame her. Phase I trials are all about the research and not really about the patient at all.
As 3mg said........we're here with ya darlin! So wish we could wave a magic wand and make everything better for so many here. Then again, I'm reminded of the story of a butterfly struggling so hard to get out of it's chrysalis. A kind hearted soul was so distraught over it struggling so hard and seemingly getting no where that they cut the opening larger in the chrysalis, so the butterfly had an easier time. A short time later the butterfly was dead. An older man who had seen this told the younger one that as the butterfly struggles to emerge from the cocoon, water is squeezed out of it's wings, so that once out, they quickly dry and it can fly off to begin it's new life. Since this one didn't struggle, the wings were weighed down with fluid and it couldn't move. When we don't struggle in the valleys, we can't soar in the mountains.

We're leaving to head back to Virginia tomorrow and once I get there I am going to be.making a full court press to get done and moved. Miss you all.
we miss you too hun! Can't wait til all this is done, y'all are moved, and you can relax a bit.

Me too. I was one of those unwanteds :(
((((((((Bea))))))))))

Harley & The Davidson's started on Discovery Channel last night. I'd lost track of time & forgot to watch or record until about 45 minutes into it. It's a 5 night thing. I'm sure it will play more than once, so I have it set to maybe catch that entire 1st part. Chock full of history!
oh thanks for the reminder. I forgot to set the DVR for this! It looked really interesting! Wish my brother were alive, he'd love to see this.

It's crazy fast and has little lights to warn me when someone is in my blind spot! The new cars have gotten FANCY!
Jup they sure have. Some of the things are nice, but just more stuff to break on em. The last car I had, bought in 2004, son traded it in in 2012 (it was a 98 Taurus), was the first car I'd had that even had power windows! hehehe

We talked, we cried, we held each other close, and then we ate stuff that was bad for us and watched TV and laughed. All in all, it was a pretty decent weekend. :)
Love the purple part!! :)

Noooooooo.... don't wait for them to ripen. Batter them in corn meal and fry them! Fried green tomatoes are AWESOME!!
that's what I wuz thinking when she posted that. I saw green maters and got excited. Then she said she ripened em. what???? LOVEEEEEEEEE me some fried green maters, and hardly ever get em. I do about 2/3 cornmeal to 1/3 flour. Season the maters and the breading with a lil salt and garlic powder. Then fry em in bacon grease!! Hey, I'm southern.......veggies aren't allowed to be healthy here!

My HA's got turned up an awesome amount on Friday, and now I have horrible static in my left ear. They are still under warrantee. Still this is not good. She didn't show me my new audiogram.
oh that's awful. Hope you can get some new ones soon.

I need to go in to get fitted for new orthotics... my feet have been killing me from the plantar fasciitis.
My son never did get any orthotics that helped with his, they all made him hurt worse. But the compression socks did help quite a bit. A pain, cuz you have to hand wash em and they take forever to dry, but worth it cuz they helped. The VA only gave him 3 pr. I'm certain I had it also when I was workin on my feet all the time, but never knew it. Just didn't have brains enough to go to a doc cuz my feet hurt. Was always much worse after sitting for a bit. Like driving home. Could barely stand on em getting outta the car into the house.

Ginny got a ticket about 3 months ago for 30 in a 20 just by guesstimated speed on a video tape. I tried to make the case for her and gave them my sob story since I was awarded the ticket because the car was in my name. Well the reduced the fine from $234 to $190 BFD.. Now I heard from guy at the VA the police are going through the parking lot looking for any thing. They got a guy for expired tabs. Not coming to a complete stop leaving the parking lot.
Wow......I always thought, and still do that WA state would be a gorgeous place to visit, but man I sure wouldn't wanna live there.

Well you ever try to take a nap in the afternoon, but your mind wanders so much you can't test. Well it happens to me a lot. It goes something like this:

Laid down and thought about Little Bird checking in and how good it was.
That led me to wondering about Bells - no vids for a couple of days.
That led me to thinking about drones.
Which led me to thinking about the guy who uses drones with his ghouls for Halloween scare tactics.
Which led me to thinking about scary movies with ghouls, vampires, bugs, dinosaurs and such.
Which led me to thinking about a giant spider that was so big he ate a T-Rex as a snack.
Just then the spider looked at me and I jumped awake and decided an afternoon cup of coffee was a better idea.....
lmao. I do this to my son all the time. We'll be talkin bout sumpthin. Then get quiet. My brain goes off on 1003 bunny trails, and suddenly I'll pipe up with something that is sooooo far from what we were talking about, that he shakes his head like he got whiplash and asks, where did that come from???? Well, it wuz sorta a logical progression. He's learning to hang on to my train of thought a bit better so he don't fall off going around them sharp turns!

Well, she came back about 2am, don't know yet the situation, but I am sure it will end up with more inconvenience for me.

I reached out to her and offered to help her deal with the emotional problems she is having, but she is trying to push everyone away and not wanting help, her mother is at her wits end, and I am just trying to be an anchor point for everyone, hard to do when you are just hanging on yourself.

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.
(((((((((((((((((Russell)))))))))))) dunno if it's that time for you or not, but there are times ya gotta get some folks outta yur life, or at least stop dealing with them. We teach people how to treat us by what we allow from them.

Map? I doant wanna find me!
I found ya.....yur over there ~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Got some good news my hemoglobin was up from 9.8 to 10.5 so he was happy about that so was I.
yay!!!!! Hope it stays that way!

My Key Lime recipe is:

Vaping Zone Super Concentrate (VZSC) Key Lime @ 18 drops/30ml
Lemon juice (i.e. Real Lemon®) @ 1 drop/3ml

Please note, I have no idea where VZ sources their flavs.
is that at 20 or 40 drops/ml? I need to figger a % At some point I need to git some of dat stuffs. Lurve me some key lime.

Try it with dill pickle slices, too. Dip them in ranch dip.
Love me some fried dill pickles!!

My mental image was of a world map with push pins in it for each person's location, hanging on the wall by the rockers.

I don't know if the one that was trashed was a graphic or just a listing by state or country like one that was in the old REO forum.
Good to see ya hun!! How are you doing????

Any pushpin would have to be approved by a small gatekeeping cadre to prevent what originally occurred previously (aka sabotage).

Feedback appreciated, positive & negative...
I think it's a great idea! And agree it would definitely need to be locked with 2 or 3 gatekeepers that are on here all the time and are long timers. I say long timers just in case folks from the past show up......newer porchers wouldn't know who they are.

Might also be an emergency contact list?
this I have wanted for a long time!! Sometimes we've found out what happened to someone, sometimes they'd just disappeared and we've never known. I have phone #'s for a lotta folks, as many of us do. But would also be nice to have a family contact in case we can't get hold of someone.

Like it or not, my stocking up needs to be over. My oldest daughter, Rachel, is getting married in or near Boston on October 22nd. So, I need to save about $500 to make the trip (airfare, hotel, etc.). That's a LOT of money.
oh wow congrats to her!!!! Wish I could send you first class!!! You'll go if we gotta start a go fund me thingy for ya!!

There have been civil suits over the things. The cities lost.

Sent from my LG-V700 using Tapatalk
you probably also remember this. I was living in Galveston when they started putting these on I-45 Folks would find out where they were and go shoot em! lol

Exactly! When they first left for Europe, I had given notice for the day off weeks ahead of time. But, we had some special event at work and they scheduled me to work anyway. Can you imagine, my boss was actually surprised when I called in sick! For possibly the last time I ever say my daughter and granddaughter? Come on. Don't be stupid! Getting fired pales in comparison!
I quit a job over them not letting me know if my vacation was approved or not when I'd put in for it way in advance when my son graduated basic. He was leaving for a year to CA for language training, then 4 months of other training, and no way to know if he'd have any time at home before being deployed. Did the same thing with another one when the director had just told me that he still hadn't heard from the head office. My dad was dying, and I needed to get to Houston. After a meeting in his office, my team mgr came and told me she'd seen the letter open on his desk saying it was approved. I yelled at him in front of everyone, told him exactly what I thought of him, and where he could stick his job and stormed out. Then my car wouldn't start  Don't git between me and those I love! Neither one was a great job, but it really wouldn't have mattered. I knew my dad was going to die while I was there. She later told me he felt awful when he found out my dad had died while I was there.

love this and totally swiped it!! Just hate all you're going through. Just try to deal with it with humor as much as you can hun.

I meant "amazon logistics" shipping.
Is this logistics thing something they ship a lotta stuff through? Didn't you say you were having these things shipped to the states, or did I misunderstand?

that's adorable, but that poor lil puppy looks freaked out!

I tried to introduce a "No spiders allowed" bill on the back porch some time ago but even after a anti-arachnid fueled filibuster on my part I wasn't successful. So, in the spirit of "If ya can't beat 'em, join 'em" I submit the following:

I absolutely agree, Darlin'. I've often said that this struggle is the forge fire that will strengthen us for the battle to come. Having reached our current point, I am oddly grateful for the things that we have faced before now... we are more prepared for the things that we are currently facing, and the things that are still to come. I just pray that the Good Lord doesn't think that we need much more strengthening... :)

I agree... I can't imagine how much it would cost to repair some of those fancy new systems!

Hahahhahahaha! Sometimes we just need to do the things that make us smile and laugh. ;)

Mama always just used cornmeal (seasoned with salt and a l'il cayenne), but yeah... definitely fried in bacon grease!!

I had one pair that worked pretty well for a while, but they weren't prescription ones from a doctor. I had found a place that did custom ones based on a mold of your foot. I don't remember where that was, so I figure I should probably just get a doc to do it... but maybe I should try to find another custom place. Might be easier and more comfortable. Mine seem to be worse when I spend any real length of time on my feet. Usually sitting for a while and then standing doesn't particularly make it any worse.

I quit a job over them not letting me know if my vacation was approved or not when I'd put in for it way in advance when my son graduated basic. That's horrible! He felt awful? Really? SMH... he'd have felt a whole lot worse when I got done with him! The nerve of some people...

Russ, our dear burdened porcher,

I know we porchers swing from dismay through humor in our responses to your situations. Regardless, we do this only to give you either some understanding, support, hugs, a 'wake-up' call, humorous frustration/diversion or any combination thereof.

Within this cyber porch family, there are at least a few others that have battled some of your challenges. You have not received an ironclad solution due to the fact that you are you and we all have been dealt different 'hands'.

Just know that we care and would provide a solution if we could. Nonetheless, PLEASE keep us updated in case a porcher can 'click da switch'!
With love from many here, take care of yourself first...

I hope that wont be their new pattern. I've using Amazon for years too without problems.
No Amazon issues... No UPS issues, either. Hmmm.
I was thinking of getting a tattoo.

My first choice is:
ohmProper.png

But, then I thought maybe:
ohmResistance.png

Not as pretty and spiritual. But, I love the multiple meanings. Plus, my daughter, Melinda, says she'll get a matching alpha to go with it.
Omega. Wonderful!

I've been thinking of getting a watercolor semi colon on the back of my neck. There's a thing called the Semi Colon Project, mostly geared towards young people who have changed direction. The semi colon reminds them that they have a choice, and that their past doesn't necessarily dictate their future. I love that.

No kiddin! I've had a few talks with him about his sneakiness at times. One part He says He'll ever put on me more than I can bear.......then he sneaks in....... But you can bear ALL things through ME.

Mike had put up a link to some that he said were amazing. I'd showed em to my son, but he didn't get em. Now I have no idea where I saved the link, but I'm sure @MikeE3 knows it.

no kiddin! He didn't feel too danged good by the time I got done with him I was seeing red when I walked out........ but was later told that most everyone in the office (30-40 peeplez) were sitting there with their mouths hangin open. But to borrow Iffy's expression, being an azzhat wuz somethin most had come to expect from him. Some folks are just angry bitter people. It's a shame, but ya can't do much with most of em.

hehehe but that's a good habit! I am just trying to help matt out. Instead of him fretting over not being caught up.......all he has to do is search for one or two of my posts, and he'll know most everything that's happened here since his last visit! Plus I'm conserving posts so we don't have to move so often.
