Just heard from Flowersoul... They are still doing well. She heard from neighbors that stayed closer to home, lots of down power lines and can't get in the neighborhood to hook up the generator to get the freezers running yet.
True vaper is more concerned about her nic stash than the frozen chicken. She has her priorities straight.

thanks hun. Jup it did knock me out. I was waiting on them to give me the happy juice, and was certain I'd been awake and aware of what was going on. I was certainly uncomfortable from laying on my stomach and aware of that. They really oughta make boob holes in them tables! hehehe Then someone hollered my name and said it's done. I thought........what's done? Then they hollered my name and told me to roll over onto the bed they had beside the table. For reals?? No idea I'd even gotten the happy juice. she wasn't sure, but thought it was a combo of fentanyl, versed and propofol. Not even really and hangover cept a bit of a headache. Some pain in my hip even after the vicodin today, but really not feeling too bad at all. Other pain has been greatly reduced! This was certainly nicer than getting 8 injections, 4 on each side with no anesthesia like I did 3 times before!

I'm so happy you got some relief! I'm getting started on my back issues. Got an rx for the anxiety day to day to keep me ok for routine things thst come upn & keeping the serax for nights h actual panic attacks. Scheduling MRI for next month for my back. Some of it is bone spursn but there is a narrowing between vertebrae in the spot that hurts.

My sister went to the Dr with me. Then had to go home & take Sara Pup to tje vet. They had to let her go & send her on her way. The cancer was progressing quickly & she wasn't eating.

My Mom's little sister passed this evening at 7:30. All the cousins stayed on Messenger with our cousins as their Mom began her journey yesterday. There are 13 of us h some one was on there with them the whole time. We were all there when she passed. It was an online waiting room full of nieces & nephews that loved her.

In other news, I also got my flue shot.

This has been a hard day on our family.

Kenna, sorry to hear of your losses. I know you mentioned several times Sara was a special pup to you.
I'm sure the virtual vigil for your Aunt was a comfort to all who could net be there in person.

I just noticed! My trash tray was in the background full of cotton! LOL! Why I still have an ash tray you ask? To serve as a reminder of why I quit smoking. I keep it packed with scrap wire, cotton, and of course, use it as a receptacle for all other nasty things. It keeps my feet free from kicking over the garbage can I used to have sitting next to me. I usually use it to catch wire clipping and cotton shavings when I'm building. And of course the occasional mesh trimmings when I'm burning in mesh, rolling a new mesh wick, or just trimming down the loose mesh wires. Saves my poor feet from getting kanthal, nichrome, nickel, stainless steel, or titanium stuck in the bottoms of my boots or bare feet!

Yepn Kanthall will make you keep things clean!

i had a dream. . .

someone was hollering at me over and over. i was in bed and asleep. neighbors or mystical roomates, i wasn't sure. i finally hollered back "SHADDUP ......IT!"

turns out it wasn't a dream. i left my HO camera on all night after a bit of an 'accident' and made it to bed. Oops.

I was doing some more clearing in the garage and found 3 old ashtrays - two were back in the day collectible - gotta see what kind of price they can go for now...

We used all of our old ashtrays for coasters! Put a folded paper towel under the glass.
