Good morning, and Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I got through all of the (32) pages of Part 5 posts, and have roughly 20 more to read, here. Couldn't wait any longer to say "Hey," find my rocker, and bask in the love of the porch :). Back to reading ...

Caught up! Whoop! These clowns actually entertained themselves somewhat today.
The first thing that popped into my head was Three Dog Night. They're adorable. Just be careful. They look like they could knock a house off its foundation. Big Babies. I haven't told you yet, but we sure missed you at the Odyssey and thought of you often.

Hey honey. Good to see you back on. Hope things are going well for you. Missed you so very much at the Odyssey, also.

Both of you made major contributions to making dreams come true and we are eternally grateful.

They look like they could get into some trouble if they tried. The 3 Stooges?

I don't think it would take any effort at all for them to get in trouble.
Peaches said: Just be careful. They look like they could knock a house off its foundation. Big Babies.
I think the relationship between dog pack cumulative weight and getting into trouble is exponential.

Hi everyone

So my girl messaged me Friday and said she got news that her dad in Perth was in hospital and he was dying.
had what was suspected to be a stroke - later turned out to be something with his brain and she was told he was going to die very soon.

So she called up and booked a bus ticket from where she is to Perth that was leaving 8am saturday.
Sadly she got a call from her dads sister that he passed away 2am saturday.
She still came up here on saturday and left today thursday.
She went and saw his body at the hospital on Tuesday and got some of his hair. She wants to put it or make some jewellery from it.

I lost my dad 25 years ago when I was 18 so have some familiarity with such a situation.
Been a bit of rollercoaster of emotions for her.

Sorry for your GF's loss. Always mind altering when you lose a parent. Be there for her now and in the future. A friend once said, everyone asks how you're doing in the 1st few weeks, but months later, everyone assumes you're over it. Not really true you never 'get over it' just learn to live differently w/o your loved one around.

Good morning, and Happy Cinco de Mayo!

The 2 on the left are brother & sister & have never been separated. The boy has gorgeous, pronounced brindle markings. The girl's markings of very pale in comparison. I call them the Tweedles, Dum & Dee. They are 18 month old Pitt mixe puppies. The boy on the right is a Golden mix & is older, very much a Golden personality, & very tolerant of Dum & Dee. I stress tolerant. They are all rescues.
Then there is the 16 yo kitty. Very tiny, I've never seen a full grown cat this small. The dogs bathe her daily. 3 dogs, so she gets at least 6 baths a day.

Just thought it might be nice to start the day off with this......... (feel free to crank it up ;))

Seems a lot of "us" could use a little inspiration and this one holds a special place in my heart.
Dedicated to EVERYONE that has foot problems, surgery problems, "barometric pressure" issues "not so good news" issues, "over worked & underpaid" issues or anything else that's making you feel tired, worn out or old and useless.

Sincerely,
 Von Vape

Good morning, Von! TY, that was a nice start to the day!

Thanks, Peach! I really enjoyed participating via the HO. Thank you for making that happen!
They are very good. It didn't take but a few minutes to teach them that they can't bump me when I'm walking. I can even walk around without my cane. They know to wait for me to sit down before they come over for attention.
They really give the doggy door a workout. Like kids running in & out slamming the screen door. They are hilarious. I left the door open to the Master bedroom but mistake on the first day. I heard a lot of racket & went to check on them & found they'd removed the linens from the bed.

That bed was nicely made up & very pretty before they fixed it.

You guys do realize that, despite common opinion, the President in recent years with the highest IQ was G W Bush.

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.
Knot reely. I think it was 130, which ain't too shabby but IQ and common sense... 2 different things. I know a few folks that are absolutely brilliant at their job. Yet can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

On what test? Using what norms? Was he functioning on that level during his presidency? Yeah, that clip of him in a classroom and his reaction to 9-11 can be ascribed to utter shock, but the rest of it----

And Trump's IQ is definitely over 130, but that is not the sole qualifier.
