This is from my speech therapist hubby.
After seeing her pics, one of my concerns is the laceration to the right of her mouth. It's really deep and involves her lip. A chunk of flesh is missing. This happened at 3 PM this afternoon and she's got a two hour ride to Atlanta. It's been a lot of emergency hurry, and then hours of waiting for services.

Yes, I was trying to work with one of them. Didn't go that smoothly so I eventually gave up and just re-registered. I was going through withdrawals! I need my porches/porchers....

sigh...tich-tich-tich...

Creating a second account is a no no :(

I should merge the second account into your original. You're lucky our multiple detection didn't catch the second account. ;)

We here are all lucky that no one 'caught' her! Tsk, tsk, tsk, that no one resolved missy's issue in da beginnin'...

I apologize if I messed up on a rule.

As per info provided, I see no reason to apologize! Just glad that it will finally be resolved, with thanx to Classy and rtd1.

Ours are for individuals only. I have HC tags on my truck, but have to have a hang tag for Mom's car. She has to have her own tag.

My doc may be wrong 'bout adding me to Patty's registration. Regardless, when da time comes, guess I'll find out.

Breath...Its a good hospital and by now they have everything set up to get her right in upon landing. Reconstructive surgeons can do some very amazing things these days.

I picked a heck of a page to come visit the porch. @seapeach, I'm SOOOO sorry to hear what happened to your GD  Lifting you and your family up in prayer :nun:

It sounds like she's in good hands.....
So sorry, but yes thanks so much. I love my porcher family and appreciate you all for being with me while I processed through this whole mess today. Hate to be such a downer but your prayers mean the world to me. Don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had you. You know I'm a writer and writing is the best way for me to get through things. Thanks for reading. I don't want to post the gory pics on the wall but if anyone wants to see what she looks like PM me your email and we'll talk.

They don't cost anything here. You just take the form to your Dr & he signs it, & you go pick up your tag.

I don't remember ANY mods blowing up before sub-ohming came into being. And I STILL don't get running over say 20w or so.

OMG! Put on your flame-proof clothing and a construction-type hat.........INCOMING!!

Ya know Peach, we laugh with our friends and we cry with our friends. That's the way true friendship works. You are not a downer, you are one of us and we share the good and the bad.

Sweetheart, no reason to be sorry for anything. I haven't spent much time on either of the porches, but I have other haunts, and I have my spells where I need to vent. My peeps in those places always have a hug, smile, shoulder or ears for me. ECF is my family, so if I can do something as simple as listen and send prayers, it's the least I can do.

Key words here... "blowing up". Shorting out, catching fire. Sure. So do flashlights. But not exploding and ripping off fingers and knocking teeth out.
Just sayin... :)

I remember reading about ego batteries that when they blew turned into flaming projectiles. If someone had been n the way it would certainly have caused injury.

Edit: My point is that it is not the ecig itself in most cases. It is the idiot misusing them.

My son wants to put the dog down for what happened to his niece. He's pretty adamant. The sheriff came out and checked all the paperwork about the shots being up to date and everything was fine. They took the dog for a ten day observation. They live on a farm way out in the country, and the dog was an adult when he took it in. He's terrified to take the dog back. Don't know if the dog will be euthanized or go to Pit bull rescue program. That's up to the sheriff. Daniel says he will shoot it if they bring it back. Mama and baby are in route to Eggleston Children's Hospital and I know it's one of the best in the nation.
I have to agree with the dogs owner can never trust a dog like that. Prayer for you and grandbaby I know if something like that happened to my grandbaby (she's 8 so can't let her know I called her baby) I would be very upset.

For the situation at hand, Mama agreed to the tetanus shot and the IM prophylactic antibiotics. She's going straight to the OR upon arrival to Atlanta. I'm feelin' a bit better. I sincerely appreciate everyone's prayers and well wishes.

She made a good decision on that!

And continuing thoughts and prayers for full recovery for her.

Baby's surgery went well and quickly. Surprised they let mama leave with her. They are at the airport flying home to Orlando. Will follow up with docs here. Not much sleep for any of us tonight, but other granddaughter's recital is today at 1 PM and you know what they say...the show must go on.

those prayers!!
Those prayers have helped. Mama is really exhausted. She's at the airport with li'l GD and I'm hoping both can sleep a little. She gets in at 8:15 am and will take cab home. Daddy is bringing other kids here at 7:30 so he can be at work at 8, then he gets off early for recital. Keep the prayers coming for no complications and speedy recovery. She's young and resilient.
