Ugh! I can't even watch it! Especially now that it's right before dinner. I used to love amusement rides, one after the other! Somewhere along the line I'm nauseous .04 nono seconds after the ride starts moving.



So sorry to hear about your mishap. It is weird that our bodies just don't cooperate with what's in our heads. About 2 years ago Mike and I realized, about half way down the stairs with a large dresser, that we couldn't do this stuff anymore! Nice time for us to figure that out!

Take it easy and heal and then "think it out" before attempting to do something like that again. Can't have you getting hurt!

In the past, I have mentioned that everything these days seems to get it's own "Day", or "Week", or "Month" .. some things get their own "Year" .. well, as of Midnight, I have declared this "Weekend That Willie Does Not Watch The News Weekend" .. of course, here I am on line where a click will take me to my newsfeed, yet so far, so good .. when I get home this Evening, I will watch "Wheel of Fortune" and immediately flip to some DVR escapism material .. calling a personal moratorium on the News as We Know It until at least Sunday ..

Yes, it's head in the sand reaction .. but, as I told some fine folks last night, it just starts to feel like the World is falling apart in front of my eyes .. in fact, I don't know if Real Life lately has become more like a surreal movie, unfolding each day .. they say reality is stranger than fiction, and maybe that's true ..

I am saddened, outraged, feel helpless and somewhat depressed all at the same time ..

I am, however, very much glad to have this Sanctuary where we gather around the Digital Campfire ..
