@2legsshrt, I didn't download the most recent August 2016 Escribe software to my DNA200 because it's still listed as being in the "early" stage rather than the "recommended" stage. I like to leave the experimenting and troubleshooting to others.
I did, though, install the latest recommended version, which was from earlier this year. It had been a long time since I'd connected to my Escribe software. Thanks for the reminder! I had thought that my DNA200 was on the arm of my couch, but it was sitting in a tray of vape gear without batteries in it. The 3 Reuleaux mods that I had "in circulation" were all RX200 versions.
On Sept 11 2001 I was at work, casing the mail for my route, when another carrier who was listening to a radio told us about the reports coming in. The prohibition against non-earphone radios was lifted, and somebody turned on a boom box. We cased our mail in stunned disbelief. I worried about my little brother, who worked in downtown Manhattan, and my Dad, whose company often did jobs in NYC. Flight 93 went down not far from where my sister lives in PA. Of course it was impossible to get through to anybody for a while, due to cell phone overload with calls to the NYC area.
I carried my route in a daze, picking up tidbits of info from customers along the way. Postal vehicles do not have radios (or air conditioning), for those who may not know.
